Due to the voting system, vote-splitting isn't as potent. But I think it might happen anyway. Also, due to the low ratings, fanbases become more powerful. MARionettes and K-Pop VPNs, do your worst! We need an LGBT bop supporter + A.I. Trooper alliance to push AleXa through.
Michaelnsync Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 The 1st semifinal is going to be amazing, a lot of tough cuts, the rumored one without Allen Stone, and now the confirmed one basically the rumored list plus Allen stone. This is crazy!!! 2nd semifinal is not going to be able to compete with it. I understand logistics, but they made the comment about how New England was representing strong in the Semi-finals, and they decided to put MA, NH, RI all in around 1. The only New England not there, is CT, which is Michael Bolton.
Michaelnsync Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 4 out of the 5 jury selections made Semi final 1, it’s makes no sense to have them all be on the same show. Is there any jury vote for the semifinals, or is it all America Vote? I think Georgia is a fire song, and could go all the way, especially with the I heart radio deal. Not surprising they kept it for night 2 without much competition. the only thing that can make sense to the stacked 1st semi final is a wildcard/redemption slot again, where they would have an advantage of another week. To have more coming out of that show.
Michaelnsync Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 So they announced the 1st wildcard, on Kelly Clarkson show, that Monday before the show. Kelly announced her guests for her show this week, and you have Jewel as one of her guest for Monday. Does this mean she got the 2nd wildcard slot??
Shawn Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 They apparently changed the rules for the semifinals. It's now 1 jury pick and 4 televote-only picks, rather than 50-50. A jury nerf.
Mellark Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 NBC ****** this up badly. I think they should move it to the summer if they want to do it again because competing with Idol is just a mess. Also, the structure is so disorganized. I haven't be following it as much, it has so potential but...
Michaelnsync Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 First show should be interesting. 4 jury picks competing competing for 1 jury pick. Basically having to rely on America vote. I personally would go for these 5 making it, I don’t get the Allen stone love. 1. MA 2. NH 3. KY 4. OK 5. CO
tiejc Posted April 26, 2022 Author Posted April 26, 2022 From last week's qualifier... American Samoa, California and North Carolina move on to the semifinals.

Hector Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 (edited) Colorado's 2nd performance better than his first. And Feel The Love is worthy of being in the finals. Me being shook at finding out he and his sister were in R5 Edited April 26, 2022 by Hector

Hector Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Fly genuinely sounds like it would be an Oscar nominated Disney song or on the regular Eurovision. It's such a bop
Hector Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 The way NI/CO ate their performance again with The Difference
FameFatale Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 I didn’t care for Alabama the first round but this second performance was really good.
