THIS. Like yes girls like Monique, Monét, Aja etc grew a ton right after their seasons, but I think they should be considered the exception not the norm. Some girls would benefit waiting longer.

like actually i might not mind seeing some as4/5 girls too since those were filmed 3-4 years ago, which is the same amount of time the s5 girls had to glo up for as2, but like, i dont need to see any girls who filmed during the pandemic until like 2024

I bet a lot of the US girls declined CANvTW because Ru isn’t judging and they’d rather be on AS8. There’s also rumors UK will be getting its own AS so if that is true they may be saving some UK girls for that.

Yeah and honestly look how much monet, Monique & aja grew from their AS to now as well. Sometimes what the girls need most is TIME, period. Tati was so effective on AS2 because it had been so long and that glo up was iconic to watch.

WOW must only be letting previous US All Stars competitors be eligible for the Vs the World iterations. Kind of makes sense as I'm sure they don't want it taking away from their own untapped pool of Queens who have yet to be on an AS Season, but also does kind of deepen the inherent advantage the US girls already have and also limits the casting choices heavily because it seems like they have their eyes on reusing at least certain AS2 and AS3 girls in future AS seasons too.

Yup I thought the same.

 

Jinkx doing the best was never gonna happen without producer riggory. Her skillset isn't up to par to what Drag Race is now. She's literally only good at comedy nothing else. I knew production was heavily involved.
