No Exit was really cute, watched it the other night! :clap3:

I have You Won't Be Alone on my list, will definitely watch that soon. Just gotta be in the right mood, heard that it's pretty taxing.

read the book, its fantastic. Taylor Adams is low-key one of the best thriller writers around.

Watched Evil Dead (2013) last night. It is one of the most annoying horror movies. Pure trash. I’m convinced the writers wrote every character to be annoying on purpose. :pfff:

one of the few horror reboots/requels/remakes whatever that actually did the damn thing. Mia is an icon and the effects are incredible. but yeah the characters are the weakest part. but it's not like they were all that memorable in the original movies either apart from Ash lmao.

You Won't Be Alone was very beautiful. At bit slow for me at times, especially the start, but had its gratifying moments.

Might crack my Top 10.

I got through 40 minutes of Soft & Quiet before I couldn’t stomach anymore. Felt like being at a Swiftie listening party.

I watched Nope! And Fall today.

Fall is more thriller, drama... it was okish.

Nope! Was quite a slay, i liked it more than Us

Get Out > Nope! > Us

4-5 more movies and i am ready for my ranking.

Finally watched Speak No Evil and I don't know how to feel lol. I think there was a good movie in there and it started off promising, but the ending was very disappointing. I was expecting a really wild ending based on the reactions I've seen but

after they cut the little girls tongue out and the parents pretty much just sat there and cried, I was over this movie. They barely fought for their daughter wtf

:deadbanana2:and when that couple told them to take of their clothes why didn't try to run or do something??? It's not like they had guns. They chose to get stoned to death instead of fight to survive and I thought that was lame af.

Hello and welcome.

To celebrate this rather special year for horror and the many gems it has brought our community, I would love to

invite you to a retrospective rate. Together, we will take a look at the unique, at the weak and determine which 2022 horror movie is

worthy of the title of ATRL's Favorite Horror Movie of the Year!

The Rules Are Simple…

— Rank at least 20 and up to 30 of your favorite horror films released this year

— Use the provided Letterboxd list as help and inspiration but feel free to add whatever movies you enjoyed

— Optionally, you may also rank your 5 least favorite horror movies of the year (from worst to best)

— Send me your ranking via PM until January 10

— You are encouraged to leave comments, mini reviews and thoughts about the movies on your list!

— I will reveal the results starting January 15

Have fun and keep it spooky!
