Definitely felt predictable at some points but good God did it create some amazing tension and suspense. Maika is truly one of my favorite final girls and it's good to see her in another horror movie. Also the outfit she wore at the end was giving me everything I needed ???

I loved how all the elements came together (horror, porn, sex and different generations, voyeurism and the 70‘s horror homage). Spoiler I got kinda sentimental when they sang Landslide and showed the elderly lady. It caught me so off guard.

I’m not the biggest Michael myers fan (kind of find the Halloween franchise boring) but I genuinely could not tell if it was supposed to be a comedy at some points. plus what a waste of Jamie lee Curtis.

I do think they were going for darkly comic at points but it just didn’t gel, especially since the first one in the reboot trilogy was very serious and dark. Im curious how they will end it, even though I think its really obvious at this point that Spoiler both Laurie and Michael will die definitely. Also, I couldn’t stop laughing at the ending of Kills. I should’ve felt sad about her daughter dying but the way Laurie looks… its all just so melodramatic and over the top and not in a good way
