Alaska. Posted Monday at 09:20 AM Posted Monday at 09:20 AM Spoiler I kinda prefered the first Smile movie Naomi Scott was fantatic though, and a much better lead
Reverse Warholian Posted Tuesday at 04:43 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:43 AM Smile 2, apart from 1 or 2 clever scares and a solid performance from Naomi Scott, wasn't good. Glad I waited to stream 1

SitarHero Posted Tuesday at 04:53 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:53 AM Latest watch was Red Rooms and god. damn.
Magic_boXX Posted Tuesday at 01:28 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:28 PM Saw Never Let Go and it had soo much more potential. I feel like it was missing something and wanted more. 4.5/10

Psychological in that it's disturbing but everything feels very much real. It's got that Megan is Missing/Poughkeepsie Tapes subject matter but never really shows anything which is an interesting approach
Capris Groove Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Which Friday the 13th film is your favourite girlies? It's gotta be part 2 for me. It's genuinely creepiest and I think Jason is at his scariest with the sack mask. The atmosphere is great, the characters are well-thought out, the final girl. 1
commander Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I watched Oddity because it's been so hyped here in the thread only to be a disappointed. It had a very strong start but the ending was little too predictable. 6/10

And after that they slowly drop in quality. From parts 5-9 they are just horror trash. (I still watch them as they are entertaining trash). Jason X is just sooooo bad. The remake though, I do not use nor acknowledge its existence.

I'd rank them like this: 6 > 2 > Remake > 10 > 5 > 4 > 7 > 1 > 9 > 8 > 3 6 is when they finally decided to go full silly instead of taking the franchise seriously like the previous sequels, and that adds a lot of rewatchability. 5 is hated because it's not "the real Jason", but it has its fun moments with the redneck family and those damn enchiladas. 4 is the favorite of a ton of people, but what I mostly remember from that movie is the group of teens/y.a watching old porn and thinking it's the funniest thing they've seen it would have worked better if they focused more on Tommy and Trish than that group It feels wrong putting 3 that low when that's where Jason gets the hockey mask, but I was so annoyed by how recycled it looked from the first 2. The same character tropes, an even worse protagonist, crappy 3D effects, another dream sequence and Jason was too rapey I've only seen these movies once though, so my opinion might change in the future. But it's not like the franchise is some well written masterpiece that makes me want to rewatch every so often
