sweetsexysavage Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Terrifier 3 was so much fun. Art looks hilarious in the Santa costume with the sunglasses 2
Jack! Posted November 17 Posted November 17 I preferred Smile 2 to the first one. Neither are groundbreaking, but they're fun and spooky so I can take them at face value for what they are. I think that's why I prefer 2. First movie was trying too hard to be more than what it was/more thought provoking. The second was campy.

Capris Groove Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Halloween Resurrection is yours for only $0.01 girlies! Still too expensive I fear. 4

I really wanted to love it after all the praise it got but it just wasn't it imo. The 2nd one though was a major improvement so now I have some hope for the franchise. More campy less faux deep please. 2

Gets the audience jumping and the soundtrack sounds so good out of those speakers! OT: should I bother with heretic it looks kinda dull and completely unscary? I don't trust critics to tell me anything useful with a2bore movies 1
PaloSanto Posted November 18 Posted November 18 just finished Late Night with the Devil and it was really good, a new take on old tropes. I really enjoyed it. And then the last 15 minutes happened...
Alaska. Posted November 18 Posted November 18 I haven't seen Smile 2 yet, but I loved the first one a lot more than most people, so I'm excited to check it out. Unfortunately I don't think I'll watch it in theathers since I've been going there too much recently. I'll wait for it to drop on VOD
Jay L Posted November 19 Posted November 19 Ok we're mid November so let's get into it. There hasn't been a film released this year scarier than Terrifier 3 imo. If you disagree, I'll hear you out. What other movie was scarier this year?

I agree with Oddity and I would also add Longlegs and Vermines from some of the tense scenes they have (the woods scene in Longlegs and the spiders scenes in Vermines)

Was just gonna say that's still overpriced. Although its miles better than Rob Zombie's Halloween II. All copies of that should be collected and burned to spare anyone from being subjected to that trash. 1 1
Capris Groove Posted November 19 Posted November 19 Okay I just finished my umpteenth rewatch of Haus of Wax from 2006. And seriously, like and subscribe and hit that bell icon if Paris Hilton isn't actually a great actress for horror.
SupremeGoddess Posted November 21 Posted November 21 Finally saw Smile 2 and I want those two hours back 1 2

It's not necessarily a horror movie but I finally watched Coherence after it was constantly praised by the sci-fi community. I thought it was a really good movie. Coherence is great, I've rewatched it like 5 times 1
rooby.booby Posted November 23 Posted November 23 The Substance the ICONIC movie that u are. Just finished it and wow. 1
popmusicisdead Posted November 23 Posted November 23 (edited) finally saw Smile 2. everything was good until Dr. Staub showed up. it kinda became a Blumhouse movie. other than that the acting was great and the gore was very good. my biggest gripe is that Skye was supposed to be an A-list MPG but the music and visuals were giving Ava Max. in real life she'd be performing at Walmarts and opening for Maroon 5 Edited November 23 by popmusicisdead 1
