I'm honestly scared to watch them :chick3:

i don't have too much of a problem with gore but the way people talk about it is like, something that'll traumatize you for life or something so I'd rather not. :giraffe:

Don't worry babe you're not missing out on anything other than some mess that for the lack of good performances has to compensate it with nonsensical gore inflected on everybody and they mama, even children and animals

:rip:

You're asking the right person because the Saw franchise is my special interest lmao. I'd say the least brutal deaths in Terrifier compare to the more brutal moments in Saw well. So it's quite a bit more bloody. While Saw definitely loves its gore, the Terrifier franchise are splatter movies. Based on what you said i think you might not enjoy watching them tbh.

yeah if saw is child's play compared to it, it's probably not for me. I don't think I've ever seen a "splatter" movie tbh :deadbanana2:

Yeah descriptions like this are why I've been avoiding it :deadbanana2: at least Saw had an interesting plot (for awhile)

Idk Saw is ostensibly less gruesome but the more serious tone makes it harder to watch at its worst than Terrifier imo :chick1:

OT: Smash 2 saving the year alongside TerriFire 3 oh my! It's not quite the same level of classic but it's a great time :clap3:

I just watched Eden Lake and it was one of the most infuriating movie experiences I've ever had. Didn't help that I had some clue about the ending going into it. I actually think it made it worse.

Spoiler

Her screams at the very end will haunt my dreams. They are on par with Toni's screams in Hereditary

one of the most gut-wrenching endings I've EVER seen in a horror movie, it upsets me to this day.

Mr Crocket wasn't that bad, light horror for one time watch. 4,7/10

so happy that it's at least an ok watch, i was scared for it that it would be a flop.

Don't turn off the lights was such a bad movie. Good idea, bad execution

Not a single horror movie released this year can compete with The Substance. An absolute masterpiece.

No one is touching it.

I still need to see The Substance, but I don't see anything topping Terrifier 3.  I need to go in the next few days to confirm :gaycat4:
