TOD was pretty decent compared to Imaginary, at least for me. 😅

Just finished Imaginary. Wasn't as bad as people say

No, it was pretty ok-ish. The third part of the movie was Disney-like but it was not THAT bad. I guess people expected something more dark and twisted.

I saw the version with the uncut scenes (the footage gets grainy, I think the new physical releases have it fully remastered) and I was shocked with the amount of censorship. Pretty much turned one of the goriest 80s movies with the best practical effects into a PG-13 one :skull:

Love David Fincher but the 'Zodiac' movie was not it imo, I watched it long time ago and I remember not liking it but I totally forgot it by now, I decided to give it a rewatch since I got into the argument lately and it's being often mentioned lately but my first impression remained, the movie needed to be more darker and thrilling, it get lost on the investigation.

Where did you watch it? :lakitu:

Spoiler

I didn't expect the twist tho. I thought it was Henry the whole time

It's called taste

Mike Flanagan did THAT :clap3:

Oh yeah I mean definitely the nods, references and winks were very well done, my favorite part :clap3:

Outside of that... Disney Channel

I mostly watch older movies on Stremio

Spoiler

I didn't expect it either, but I'm pretty bad at guessing killers or plot twists anyway lmao

How bad are the jump scares in First Omen and Immaculate? I wanna watch, but heavy jump scares always trigger my anxiety for some reason :rip:

they both have quite a few. I've only seen Immaculate and it has some but from what I heard, First Omen has plenty.

Haven't posted mini-reviews in a while!

Immaculate - The first great horror film of 2024 is correct! Lots of gore, fun twists and a rootable final girl in Sydney Sweeney! 8/10

Imaginary - The script sounds AI-generated and the plot is just pointless. Typical Blumhouse crap. 4/10

You'll Never Find Me - Dragging but the final act is kinda cool. Think of Barbarian's first act but reeeally dragged out. 5/10

Baghead - Really cool concept but the execution isn't there yet. It feels like they rushed this to ride the success of Talk to Me. 5/10

The First Omen Immaculate but even cuntier! You don't even need to watch the original to enjoy this one. 8/10

Can't wait for Abigail, Late Night with the Devil and Vermine later this month! :duca:
