thank you for a great rate @genetic fail

I would switch Evil Dead Rise and Talk to Me but i had an absolute blast watching both of them in theaters, so a great top 5 overall.

also idk if it was because it was a weaker year for horror but i didn’t expect Saw X to be so high, fellow tastehavers came through!

hey guys great list.  Loved Scream 6.  Can I get a recommendation.  Saw Jeepers  Creepers 2 last night looking if anyone knows a movie kind of similar to it?

This rate win is a great reminder that Evil Dead is the best one of the best horror franchises ever. That perfect blend of extreme gore with campy humor is so iconic and obviously resonates with horror fans/the gp since it's still going strong after all these years. Anyone who has not watched all the Evil Dead's I definitely recommend! The OG first one is still my favorite go to horror movie and have to watch at least once every halloween/spooky season.

the gore varies from a bit cheap looking but still effective (the original) to absolutely over the top (comedic in the show, visceral in the remake). the newest one is also very bloody.

Anyway, I'm about to watch the original The Ring, scary or not ? :nicole:

Looking for 2 90 min horror movies to watch tonight.

Interested in a movie similar to Jeepers Creepers 2

I am open to types of horror.  I prefer slashers over extreme gore but supernatural and psychological work too.

Any suggestions?

I found Ring 2 to be scarrier but that was one of the first movies where I actually was legit scared

A bit unsettling but not scary imo

I have binged my first horror of this year - Out of Darkness. It didn’t seem promising, but they have chosen the right path halfway through bringing it to a grim, but satisfying ending. Now, this is an actual “disaster”/survival horror.

Also, I can’t wait for Stopmotion to be available soon enough. It oozes creepiness pro max.

There you have it - Out of Darkness. It does have that Jeepers Creepers atmosphere, and you will have sense of a “monster” as well. It is not gorey, but it does contain explicit brutality. The story turns around good enough, so probably you will enjoy it. :cold5:

Watched DARK HARVEST

Concept was great, execution was a bit rushed but some good cinematography. Again, concept of Sawtooth Jack as a monster is very good though.

Overall a fair rate, the first two movie were in my small top3 I listed before the rate with 'Acclaim Lurks' being on it and #1.

'No one will save you' lowkey being the surprise of this rate, I wasn't expecting it that high, interesting movie, I did have enjoyed it, it had some good moments.

Personally I’d swap The Evil Dead with Evil Dead 2 but yes at this taste :clap3: The tv series was so good

That's ok. There isn't enough payola in the world to stop me from shitlisting Malignant in the 20s rate.
