Uncatena Posted March 3 Posted March 3 thank you for a great rate @genetic fail I would switch Evil Dead Rise and Talk to Me but i had an absolute blast watching both of them in theaters, so a great top 5 overall. 1
Uncatena Posted March 3 Posted March 3 also idk if it was because it was a weaker year for horror but i didn’t expect Saw X to be so high, fellow tastehavers came through!
Into The Void Posted March 3 Posted March 3 hey guys great list. Loved Scream 6. Can I get a recommendation. Saw Jeepers Creepers 2 last night looking if anyone knows a movie kind of similar to it?
Jay L Posted March 3 Posted March 3 (edited) This rate win is a great reminder that Evil Dead is the best one of the best horror franchises ever. That perfect blend of extreme gore with campy humor is so iconic and obviously resonates with horror fans/the gp since it's still going strong after all these years. Anyone who has not watched all the Evil Dead's I definitely recommend! The OG first one is still my favorite go to horror movie and have to watch at least once every halloween/spooky season. I just saw Evil Dead (2013) and the gore didnt phase me at all I used to not be able to do movies like that
Gesamtkunstwerk Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I literally never have time to catch up on these rates Thanks for tagging me each time anyway tho !
Gesamtkunstwerk Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Anyway, I'm about to watch the original The Ring, scary or not ?
Into The Void Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Looking for 2 90 min horror movies to watch tonight. Interested in a movie similar to Jeepers Creepers 2 I am open to types of horror. I prefer slashers over extreme gore but supernatural and psychological work too. Any suggestions?

Lemon Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I have binged my first horror of this year - Out of Darkness. It didn’t seem promising, but they have chosen the right path halfway through bringing it to a grim, but satisfying ending. Now, this is an actual “disaster”/survival horror. Also, I can’t wait for Stopmotion to be available soon enough. It oozes creepiness pro max.

There you have it - Out of Darkness. It does have that Jeepers Creepers atmosphere, and you will have sense of a “monster” as well. It is not gorey, but it does contain explicit brutality. The story turns around good enough, so probably you will enjoy it. 1

slik Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Watched DARK HARVEST Concept was great, execution was a bit rushed but some good cinematography. Again, concept of Sawtooth Jack as a monster is very good though. 1
Leptine Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Overall a fair rate, the first two movie were in my small top3 I listed before the rate with 'Acclaim Lurks' being on it and #1. 'No one will save you' lowkey being the surprise of this rate, I wasn't expecting it that high, interesting movie, I did have enjoyed it, it had some good moments.
