I casually watched it just last year because for some reasons it didn't catch my radar when it came out and yeah I didn't like it at all, I like the concept but the execution was a mess, it's from the Men.com director indeed.

ScarJo in 'Under the Skin' washed her with ease with this superior A24 artsy sci-fi horror movie.

No one will save you was good! I was skeptical. I was hoping for a more brutal ending but it kept me guessing and I LOVED the aliens. they were so cute and horrible and they kinda slayed those vogue poses

I'm halfway thru No One Will Save You and I'm not loving it as much as I wanted. Maybe it's just because aliens and home invasion stuff have been done to death so none of it seems really groundbreaking, and the aliens almost look like parody aliens? lol

Was this intended to be a silent movie? Like did the director go in purposely trying to do this? I ask because the silent stuff just seems unnatural? Like even when someone is alone, they mutter stuff, talk to themselves, say stuff under their breath. It almost seems like it's unnaturally going out of its way to not have anyone speak which kind of takes me out of it.

Well girlies, it is time for a 25th anniversary rewatch of:

Still looks gorgeous, a wonderfully atmospheric orchestral score from Christopher Young, a stacked cast of 90s faves and horror royalty, ridiculously fun kills, quotes galore (Silvio Horta RIP, but babe you snapped!) and an awards-worthy performance from Rebecca “Miss Thang” Gayheart! What’s not to love?

Has anyone seen All Fun and Games? If so is it worth a watch?

Not the tasteless in here dragging Annihilation :biblio:

An atmospheric cinematic environmental masterpiece :clap3:

The MEHn director was on such a roll until... MEHn :deadbanana4:

Yeah, unintentionally funnier. :celestial3:
That being said, Urban Legend is one of the better Scream’s spawns. :clap3:

Imagine if A24 wins the rights and they do a crossover with Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees

Didn't know Friday the 13th is being release as A24 tv show but most important with the creator of 'Hannibal' tv show (a masterpiece), this sounds very promising and with potential, Ryan Murphy is going to be washed I fear.

Same. The lead actress really kept me engaged. A smart and proactive heroine. The film honestly deserved a theatrical release.

The main character was literally fighting for her whole life throughout the whole film and you wanted a MORE BRUTAL ENDING 😒 and not you trying to yass-ify the aliens 💀

I think its good because it combined aliens with home invasion. The alien designs are pretty standard from what we've seen over the years. Not parody like as you're claiming. The silence is a plot point so integral to the story. The character is also clearly painted out to be the town outcast so everyone silencing her or ignoring her both adds to the tension because one can argue the unnatural silence adds to the tension and suspense of the film. Literally alienating the character even more.

No one will save you was an intriguing watch but idk, a little too “artsy choice” for me.

The ending was also like, not really clarified but I also don’t feel like I don’t need an explanation lol.

I needed to rewatch the ending to grasp it but it's actually a really interesting mix of extremely disturbing and oddly beautiful? I thought it was a great choice to have

Spoiler

Brynn remain without an alien parasite and finally be able to live the life she was chasing in the beginning but at the cost of her entire town being taken over by aliens.
