Is House of Wax worth watching? I’ve seen a couple of scenes from it and it actually looks creepy.

I liked it when it came out but I'm not sure how it would be watching it now.

Chile I did the same the other day with an awful result, I wanted a 'Terrifier' kind of movie and people on Reddit were suggesting a movie called 'Hatchet' that I never heard before and was labelled as cult great horror splatter according to them.. It was available on Prime so I decided to check..

Literally a 'Scary Movie' kind of movie, terrible with embarrassing acting :deadbanana: I was so sure one of the actresses was Heidi Montag.

'Terrifier' was truly a gem.

I doubt there's gory-camp serves like Terrifier out there smh. Try some movies from the 80s maybe?

clown movies i liked:

Hell House LLC: found footage excellence :WAP:

Clown (2014): is cute if you haven't seen it

Haunt (2019): cute serve

The only titles I can think of being gory from past years it's 'Hostels' but they're definitely not camp, situations that can be totally realistic, not to mention the effects, I remember had difficult watching them back in the day, whereas 'Terrifier' has totally unrealistic scenes and tones that I find more enjoyable.

if yall are looking for campy gory horror you have to check out the anthology series Slasher :ghostface:the first 3 seasons are on Netflix and the other 2 are on Shudder and I have not been disappointed yet. I'm already ready for a new season even though the last season came out this April lol.

Yes! while I personally enjoyed the first season it's definitely the most boring season by far lol start at S2 that's when I really got hooked

A classic, still have so many episodes to go through but I mainly binge it during phases in which I won't do much anything besides being in bed with a bong lol

Another great crazier one is Freddy's Nightmares, an anthology too narrated by Freddy and definitely more unhinged and dreamy, has a special place for me too.

I just watched it. It's indeed amazing and has some serious well-executed unsettling scenes. Although I can't help but think it could have been better. It for sure keeps you interested until the end. Nevertheless, it's brilliant. The found-footage genre has so many hidden gems.

Any movie recommendations? I’m on the look for a slasher type movie, in the same calibre as Hell House LLC or Haunt.

Bordello of Blood slaps a bit, too. I didn't know it was inspired by the legend of Lilith.

Watched Evil Dead Rise the other day.  Very disappointed.  The special effects were great, but the plot was basic and there were a lot of ridiculous moments.  And the two teenage kids were really cringe :deadbanana2:

I've watched the first three seasons.  2 and 3 were excellent.  1 was mid as hell.

I just watched The Free Fall (2021) on Hulu, and I am shaking. :jonny5: This was way better than it deserved to be.
