It's a neat concept for an abduction story but I was hoping to learn more about the lore behind the phone + the grabber's motives. Can anyone who's read the short story shed more light on this? Spoiler I genuinely don't understand how the grabber concealed everything from his idiot brother the whole time? Why was that character even necessary?
