If Gardevoir, a Pokémon that Diantha has had since she was a child and basically took her to champion status, is getting swept easily by that disgusting payola’d Charizard, what realistic hope is there for Dragonite, Dracovish, Sirfetch’d?   At least if Ash used his previous Pokémon from the past seasons it would be more realistic

He's a fool for that, actually, I think there was more creatitivy when megas were allowed, sure the primals were everywhere but you were seeing other megas as well like Rayquaza, Lucario, Kanga, Mawile, Metagross, Salamence, etc and other pokemon. This gen it was all about Zacian, Incineroar, Kyogre, Thundurus.

I also agree with the whole Leon thing, it's ridiculous how overpowered they made him in the anime, whoever wrote him and most of journey's is an idiot, there's no reason for him to be THAT powerful against another champion (and this is coming from someone who thinks Diantha is useless), I mean his Charizard had a hard time against Raihaj and was sweating when fought Pikachu but it's somehow now almost indestructible and then making Rilla a powerhouse taking down half of Diantha's team, that's ridiculous.

 

I honestly don't see Ash winning against, Leon has more plot armor than Ash himself but I'd love him to win so we never get to see Leon's overrated ass anymore.

Dracovish will be handled by Cynthia’s Roserade with 0 wins in that battle but watch they’re gonna get that ugly thing to miraculously defeat Leon’s Dragapult or something  it’s ridiculous 

The way it beat Drasna’s Noivern was already fraudulent 

 

The writers not understanding Leon can be “unbeatable” and STILL struggle against his opponents is beyond me

Cynthia getting 3.5 EPs is likely more than Leon so  All the budget sacrificed for Round 1, is being saved for Cynthia yup yup  This Tournament would be much better if they had Ash use Pokemon he caught years ago, rather than 6 month old team beating all the champions  The kii is Journeys is literally the perfect season for Ash to use old Pokemon, but now we have him with his most forced shillmon team ever. 

 

If this was his team, i'd accept her loss  it serves signature Champion team + mimics Red. Pika & Lyc can wreck Leon's Charizard too

It's very confusing tbh  but I guess the most accurate leak is the one that says it's a Gallade form that looks like a mix between Gardevoir and og Gallade

 

They need to give ha the Fighting/Fairy combo regardless

Commencing my hunts this weekend for shiny Latios (which will be my first intentionally hunted shiny ever) in all the following:

• Emerald (Southern Island, for my Frontier team)
• Alpha Sapphire (Southern Island)
• Sword (Dynamax Adventure)
• Brilliant Diamond (Ramanas Park)

Also thinking of trying it in Sapphire and some Gen 4 and 5 games eventually. The GBA ones are nice because I can do it on my emulator so I have save backups, and then I have a tool that lets me put my save file on a real cartridge if I find one and a working DS for transfers.

The more I look this paradox idea, the more messy and nonsensical it sounds, couldn't they just do regional forms or so?

If they indeed look like that, it's an amazing design! Also I thought the typing may not be good due to 4x weakness to ground but having the steel typing negates the water and rock weakness? I think it'll still be weak to water.
