Living peacefully until the Kingdom of Paldea colonized us for 333 years, within that timeframe United Galarians also managed to occupy our capital for 20 months (Galar was a Maritime powerhouse and all it wants to do is colonize as many lands as they do). Also on that timeframe, the Kalos Republic made a blockade on one of our southern islands and annexed it from the Paldeastanis but backed out eventually.

 

Then the United States of Unova and Alola liberated us from Paldea's hands and became their protectorate territory for at least 48 years. But in between that settlement, during the PokéWorld War 2, we got invaded and massacred by the Great Imperial Forces of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh for 3 years before gaining full independence.

 

Let's just say my ARTPOP could mean anything because all of them Regions are power hungry and wanted to Do What They Want and R. Kelly'd us. I think they all dodged a bullet anyway because this place is a shithole.

 

 

Anyway... I'm a Gen IV stan, so I'm a Sinnohan.

I know the feeling, my ancestors were robbed by Galarians too. We moved to Galar generations ago so I am guilty of assimilating to my colonisers. My cousin Raihan made it as a gym leader so guess we're thriving.

All my friends are in Galar working now and happy living there. They were particularly elated when they got their ILRs, they will become Galarians soon. Good for them and their vacations to the Schengen areas.

I was hoping the gimmick would make less traditionally competitive Pokémon more viable, but this seems like it’s going to make OP mons more broken. 

 

I wish it had been more of a defensive gimmick as opposed to another offensive one, seeing as they crystallise…
