The gimmick visually, is underwhelming. I’d rather they just crystallised without sprouting the things in their heads, serving Calyrex brain tumour. 

 

The graphics are still shocking, but I like the little gay wave the player does in multiplayer lol. The customisation and clothing options look bland. 

 

I was hoping for a Pink Wooper, but this makes sense, being covered in mud and all. It’s cute. 

 

The Dolphin is a serve if it keeps its mouth shut. It’s barley a “Dolphin”.

 

The voice acting disclaimer 

 

I’m glad raids are back & the real-time battling method is nice, makes them less of a slog. 

 

Miraidon & Koraidon’s riding animations look clunky.

I can’t believe they somehow downgraded Dynamax in terms of looks.
 

The battle implications are very interesting tho with added or new types for certain mons to have access to. 

 

S/N: Gen 7’s regional form gimmick stomps on Gen 6 and is still being used in other regions btw so give it up Kalosers, you’re second place or last as always.

The regional forms aren't gimmicks tho, not when only 3-4 pokemon got it that game

I believe the Pokémon Centre in Shibuya launched with Swarovski encrusted Mew necklaces and Pokeballs, and PokeCo marked their 25th anniversary with a collaboration x Baccarat, featuring Crystal Pikachu.

Cetitan is a top tier design! I hope she evolves, but she looks like a final stage tbh.

 

Idk why the graphics are so unbearably bright. But that said, i expected a horror show in Arceus, and it kinda was in places, but once i'm playing i usually don't mind anymore.

Miss Delta Species was the first to threw regional forms. So SM didn’t introduce anything new or unique. In a way, regional forms are kinda like cross evolutions. Miss Kalos gimmick is still being mimicking by everyone gen after that. It’s different. Not everyone can be a trendsetter

The Pokémon texture looks a lot better but the game still looks kinda ugly. And the swimming Gyrados kinda took me out no water was splashing 

Also the new gimmick is serving RuPaul drag race

Why has the pokemon company decided that each new game NEEDS a battle gimmick?

The went 17 years without adding weird things to their battle mechanics but ever since Kalos they **** with that every single time

And they peaked with mega evos and ever since then all is downhill
