Well, it's only fair that Fuecoco's evol will be an special attacker, Quaxlsy's is a fighting type and screams physical attacker and with the Cat going bipedal, I see it being physical too.

no way she isn't using Garchomp and he will use M Lucario with Dandel's Charizard so i think is going to be G Gengar vs M Garchomp

 

should have been G Gengar/Metagross, M Lucario/M Garchomp and Pikachu/Charizard but oh well..

A magazine scan already revealed Ash is using Dragonite, Lucario, and Sirfetch’d. Either Dragonite is getting redemption for it’s lost against Paul’s Garchomp, or we’re getting Mega Lucario vs Mega Garchomp.

Alain's metagross vs pikachu was a much better fight than this, Journeys league is so dissapointing, girl where's the budget?

i hope this battle was a little underwhelming because the one with Cynthia will SLAY and it better be, we waited 15 years for this match

already pissed about poor Sirfetch’d since is going to have the same fate as Dracovish

I'm starting to think Ash may lose against Cynthia. The way Cynthia's Garchomp was introduced in the last battle with that epic music showed that she's on another level. Ash will probably win because the interesting battle is Leon vs. Ash, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't eventually. Also, what would be Ash role in the next region? We know it's about schools, similar to Alola. There's no way he will be a simple student if he wins. Maybe he will become a teacher? A student to learn about the new gimmick? I'm curious. 

 

However, if Ash ends up winning, I hope he doesn't win against Leon. Or at least I hope the last battle is not Charizard vs. Mega Lucario. I will fume if Mega Lucario wins despite having no super effective attack against Charizard.

I already knew this entire arc would be underwhelming the moment they revealed the battles would be 3v3 and not 6v6  like how come the “biggest tournament in the world” doesn’t have the best trainers showing off their full teams? 

Also the lack of creativity is disgraceful, most Pokémon getting defeated with one shot  this could’ve been a serve and they dropped the ball I fear.

The Iris vs Cynthia episode being titled “Road to Dragon Master” for nothing. HOW come they didn’t think of Cynthia pushing Iris using ice/fairy moves with Milotic and also using her Kommo-o? Her battle should’ve been with Lance.
