Yep, I think they are the same. I don't know how to feel about them, right now it just seem a lot of wasted potential... But I guess it's better to have my expectations down.

I know we have a ton left to go and don’t actually have a lot of info right now, but I just feel so weirdly neutral about the whole thing. I’m honestly more interested in continuing to play Legends right now, or replaying my favorites like GSC.

HOWEVER, i will riot if past/future forms ARE convergent forms. that jigglypuff IS jigglypuff

I've made some sense of it by assuming its the leakers attempt to describe "a regional, but not quite". It also seems like they'll be playing roles in the overworld, like Diglett being a water geyser. Maybe the "fake" element is that it uses a Diglett appearance as a disguise, but shoots out into something clearly different on approach/in battle, essentially, a "fake out", or like Voltorb hiding as a Pokeball. I dunno. The real answer is probably much simpler than all of this. I think RFakes are completely different species that don't have the same ancestors with old mons, they just have the same appearance, like Diglett is a mole but RF Diglett is actually water come out of ground, something like Mimikyu trying to copy Pikachu's look, that's why its "Fake" Edited July 17, 2022 by OrionHwang

Allegedly Kaka said Wooper and Tauros are the ONLY Regional Forms in SV. But i can't follow him to verify so RForm: RForm + REvo: CrossGenEvo: RFake: Riddler said there would be 3 Johto Regional Evos, and this list would follow that only if u assume, Regional Wooper evolving isn't counted. So take this list with a grain of salt. If there's a lie, it's probably Murkrow.

Could be a way for GF to only redesign 1 Pokemon from a line, if their ideas aren't there. (+Eviolite) Be cool if it served Eternal-Floette being 1 BST behind Florges, reaching its max unevo'd potential. Kaka said doesn't evolve @Heldenzeit hintedtho. King/Queen evo?
