Rith Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 so this kao guy probably got the scarlet version and chose quaxly as his starter. he shared pics of water and grass evos + 2 "primitive" forms (jigglypuff and mushroom) i wonder if cross gen evos will be the evolutions of primitive/neo forms or just normal cross gen evos. also, will there even be any regional forms this gen? these past/future forms CLEARLY look much less "different" in a sense, just minimal modifications on the base form unlike regional, especially galarian, forms which is sad. also khu warned us about how limited they are (said that 2 is already revealed) and if they're just gonna do minimal changes like this i want A LOT the battle gimmick seems to be some kind of revival? you choose a pokemon beforehand and when it gets KO'd it becomes crystallized? and it probably revives with a new/third type? it will just be an aura reflecting the color of the type probably which sounds boring. i really wish they kept up with mega evo kind of gimmicks instead of this generic mess, we'd be more than halfway thru the dex if they kept giving us more megas every gen. this way, nobody wins.

I’d rather have regionals forms that are actually accessible in future games that don’t share the gimmick, otherwise they’ll just go in the way of Megas. Demon Jiggly should be a mainstay! Though, I don’t see how that would be the case, as it’s confirmed it’ll apply to all mons. Do only certain mons get different forms? GF sure as heck isn’t going to shill out for new models of every available mon in the game. Hmm.

WAIT, your idea makes so much sense with the clues Khu gave. They kinda also foreshadowed this with PLA's Giratina fight

Hmm. well regional forms are kind of exclusive to that "region" as the name implies and they can include these forms either by home or in weird areas like space-time distortion or raid dens in future i guess. the problem is both the jiggly and amoongus look like they put on makeup and that's it. they're not as different as ponyta or corsola or even vulpix regional forms. which is boring the thing that will apply to all mons is just revive/3rd type aura whatever gimmick. this future/neo forms will be for 20~ pokemon i bet. that's why khu said that they are limited 5 hours ago, Rigalo said: MESS, these games better be hard as hell of the gimmick is a ******* broken REVIVE MECHANIC imagine gold/silver miltank reviving after u finally kill it
