Waiittttt PMD is kinda a serve with save states/rewind. I had Red and Blue both as a kid and I don't think I ever touched Red and I didn't love Blue, it was kinda hard back then. I hate games where you lose a lot of progress if you die and I remember getting walled by the legendary birds after the town kicks your ass out.
 

Last night on Mt Steel a Zigzagoon two shotted me and I was PISSED…. Then I remembered I can just go back in time

 

I decided I was just gonna go with whatever pokemon I got from the personality test and I got forking Charmander  I picked Treecko as my partner cus he's one of my faves

Anyway congrats to Cybertron for graduating from Stanford University this year while prepping for VGC

It took quitting his job and 7 years, but congrats to Wolfe for finally making it to the Top 106

I beat the game a few months ago and I feel like if you revisit Red/Blue you'll realize all these years later it wasn't as hard as it seemed when we were kids I guess I still prefer Explorers because the storytelling was taken to another level but the Rescue Team games bring a strong sense of nostalgia for me and I adored the friend areas.

 

Only those bonus dungeons you had to do to recruite certain legendary Pokémon were actually hard tbh.

Farigiraf, the TRUE G9 rate winner, is the 4th most present Pokemon in Day 2 of Worlds  The best part is she's good in any format. Legendaries or not. 

We need to kill the Furry agenda next Zacian significantly below Zamazenta has me screaming. It was bad for her. GF should've been like any normal dev and fixed the problem with a quick SWSH update, but ofc they only fix the issue when the next game drops. Senseless.

Seeing so many great players kinda flop this year though makes me think we probably won't see the "old greats" reach that same peak again. The games are just so much more competitive now and the meta is unforgiving. 

 

I would like to see them heavily nerf Incineroar, Rillaboom, Urshifu, Calyrex and Flutter Mane or just have them not return. It's really tired seeing the same few Mons get used over and over.

Congrats to Michael Kelch, for making Worlds T2 in 2023, and now T4 in 2024.

He started playing VGC only 2 years ago, & didn't have to quit his job, & try for 7 years to get T32

 

13 years in the game, quit his job to focus all his time on VGC, only one 1st place 

Yet he plasters "WORLD CHAMPION", "UNDEFEATED GOAT", & "THE BEST PLAYER" everywhere he goes

How did Diego do? His team was insane

 

I think urshifu needs a nerf to his moves bp since there is no way to mitigate his damage like at all

 

im fine with the others but I could see FM getting a nerf even if she is queen

 

I  don't think incin and rilla needs a nerf since they are just good at their jobs without being really oppressive like thundurus plus unlike those two thundurus was oppressive in bss which led it to getting more of nerf. Cress and zacian got nerfs for similar reasons for being all around insane. 
 

 

That being said those two are going to meta in gen H so we will see

 

i think budding other Pokémon should be done before nerfing others tho. Look at king zama having some time to shine
