loveisdead9582 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Well, the epilogue is live tomorrow. I’m kind of excited. I downloaded the dlc for scarlet finally after finishing it in Violet. A few Easter eggs were fun since they let you access certain things from the indigo disk while you were doing the teal mask. Scarlet definitely got the better paradoxes in the DLC.

JoeRobert Posted January 12 Posted January 12 The epilogue felt a bit pointless…and maybe I haven’t finished it fully yet but why did Spoiler Turo meet us at the Crystal ponds and the disappear…then the epilogue had nothing to do with that.

JonginBey Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Decided to start shiny hunting in Scarlet. I don’t have the shiny charm, so I’ve always felt discouraged to try as I thought it would be really difficult and time consuming without it. The swarm/sandwich method hasn’t failed me yet I’ve gotten the three I’ve gone after so far: Gyarados, Mareep, and Fletchling. Also got a Buizel while doing the Gyarados swarm.

Ewan Chaos Posted January 15 Posted January 15 The epilogue was cute and actually felt necessary when they decided to end part 2 with "sorry for being mean please forgive me :(" then immediately the story is over. It's also fun seeing the 3 Paldea friends again for some extra story. In a series that intentionally leans more family-friendly, it feels like giving correct characterization to the characters closest to the MC (usually the rivals) helps make a game better. Anyway. I'm surprised that they didn't just save that epilogue for Pokemon Day and now they need to think of how to pad out that eventual presentation because I doubt they're gonna announce more than one game.
