The devs are doing an amazing job with communicating updates & turning them around quickly. It’s also just so cute, though the core mechanics are a much slower pace than typical of Pokemon. The microtransaction prices are also completely unreasonable. But I’m almost at Lv 16, with an Espeon Shiny Squirtle, Shiny Doduo & Shiny Vigoroth. Also Togetic & Jigglypuff ready to evolve once I can get the stones with sleep points. Have managed to get to master rank 1 on the first Island. Doing Cyan Beach now & have unlocked Taupe - but I think I’ll go back to Greengrass Isle for the upcoming full moon event. I want an entirely pink team eventually. I wish they’d add the Musharna & Hypno lines. Also, I’m strangely more attached to these mons than the ones in Go, which I’ve all but quit now. I think something about seeing them each morning is the reason lol. I hope they implement Home compatibility in 10 years. Edited August 24, 2023 by FOCK

Haze Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 I'm doing a replay of Scarlet since I've finally given up hope they'll patch it, and I must say, I'm enjoying it more now that I actually know which order to tackle the gyms and titans and I don't have to constantly look it up. The game is kinda cute in some parts, and then so agressively ugly in others it's sort of funny. The textures varying from hyperrealistic to non-existant is giving me a continuous whiplash. Also, it's taken me till now to notice how much worse the game looks in handheld. Like the biggest discrepancy since XC2 (but that was a great game so I didn't mind.) I just finished the sunflora run and I can't fathom how that actually made it into the game. It could've been such a fun moment but dear god. I just really want a pretty mainline game again. Seeing HGSS makes me so nostalgic. 1

If Ogrepon's face was green it would be better.. but I think it fits the peach theme well. It's cute I love him. Hopefully the Dex numbers aren't real and we'll see a Dipplin evo in Indigo Disk
