But in general most people vastly prefer the DLC to the actual game. So even if u hate SWSH, its DLC is much better.

Still though, play Arceus first

Such a good game, I can’t believe how much life the sprite have compared to 3D models, it’s kind of crazy.

 

But the game really is fun, the creator really outdid themselves, I can’t wait to play the gen 9 update

About to do my first Emerald Nuzlocke in forever. 

I have this rule where the last digit of my trainer card dictates who my starter will be (1-3 = grass, 4-6 = fire, 7-9 = water).

Okay I finally got past the intro. Had #1 in the end of my trainer card so had to pick Treecko. I named him Clive. 

Then I got a poochyena, named it Barbie. 

After that came Wingull (named it Ramona) and Wurmple (named it Sanic). 

I will boost Clive to deal with Roxanne

Then I will boost Ramona to deal with Brawly. Barbie will be 3rd in line because Electric is neutral vs Dark and May's Torkoal.

Ceruledge & Armarouge were the easily the strongest, but the whole team was built around MVP Grafaiai, who was MVP even before it got Sunny Day & Spore(E4)

It's unreal how much better the ice dragon (i forgot its name, i really checked out this gen nnn) looks as a sprite. The design actually works like this.

Radical Red is a better version of Fire Red with 9 generations of Pokemon

Yeah Baxcalibur works so well in 2D, but looks so Toy Story in 3D

Rence is right  Radical Red is the gold standard for having all the modern features, & 9 gens, but the difficulty can turn some people off.

 

These are difficulty hacks (no story changes) that aren't as hard as RR:

 

Renegade Platinum 

BlazeBlack & VoltWhite 2 Redux 

The above are both limited to the dated NDS engine tho, so they only have the first 4/5 gens of Pokemon.

Inclement Emerald is built on the same modern GBA engine as RR, & has 8 gens of Pokemon.

 

Unbound is where Radical Red got its engine from, it's a completely original region, characters, & story, with the first 8 gens of Pokemon.

This is what I have now 

Literally only Barbie has a shot vs Roxanne but I'll have to boost her to like, lvl 20 so she survives all the way. 

And then she's useless vs Brawly so I have to then switch over to Ramona and HOPE that Sanic turns into Beautifly.
