rta1913 Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 I recently got a Switch and my bf got me Shield and Violet on Marketplace by cheap lol and now that I finished Shield I am wondering if I should get the DLC. It sucks the DLC you can never really get them for cheap as they are digital and you can't buy them used and they are barely on sale. Is the Shield DLC worth it? Honestly didn't love the game. The dynamax gimmick bothered less than I thought it would, but story wise it was a mess, characters were annoying and I never was able to form a solid 6-member team (I try to use only new Pokemon and/or regional variants) and while I liked a lot of the Pokemon looks-wise I never could form a balanced team. The starters are HORRIBLE, probably the worst of them all (imagine being worse than Gen 5 ). Anyways, ShitFreak didn't get my coins for the games so I came to ask you guys if I should give them for these DLC's. (I did buy Arceus).

I love how this can be applied to The Sims games as well lol. Every base game is empty suburbia and combinations of multiple DLC is what makes it fun. OT: Haven't done a nuzlocke in eons maybe I'll do one in Sword.
