Yall, how is Ash, a Champion who already went to school, who beat every other Champion of every other region,  supposed to go to yet another region, reset his Pikachu to Lvl 1 once again, beat/lose to gym leaders once again and  have a rival who he loses to that would get curb stomped by Leon. His arc, along with Team Rockets and all of his companions, were finished when he beat Iris. Canonically at that point he beat an existing Champion, and at that point there is no going back. Ash would have needed to lose to Iris and Steven to be able to make it in the next series.

The main reason I kept watching the anime was nostalgia, I feel like Ill have no motivation to keep watching with these new protags. They look like flops too!

The new anime is going to flop. Trust. A good portion of people watching the anime watch it due to nostalgia and because they've watched Ash/Pikachu since they were kids. So these new protags coming in is just going to make a lot of people end up dropping off the anime when they realise it's boring AF and don't have that nostalgia push of Ash/Pikachu to keep watching.

If they wanted to keep the same concept they could've done this, & make it look like an actual peacock. NOT a man in a duck costume.

Her feet have actual CLAWS rather than literal DILDOS too.

 

 

They keep giving these humanoid proportions to things that don't need them. It's the same **** with Obstagoon.

U can get your street performer / carnival dancer concepts across without making them ******* humanoid.

I can help you with that for the Violet paradox forms… I just entered the AZ so I might need some time before being able to collect all paradox forms tho

I hated the starters at first but Skeledirge is a SLAY and Quaquaval is slowly growing on me. Meowscarada still makes me uncomfortable but we’ll get there, maybe. 
 

Also happy my baby Grimmsnarl is so good this gen. I’ve been using him on Showdown with Cyclizar to set up Kingambit/Skeledirge sweeps but I probably need to use a faster sweeper than those two. I’ve just been using my faves this gen on my team and it’s been working well enough though, Shed Tail is ridiculous.

I 100% agree. I really cannot get behind those designs (and some others) as they are, so unnecessary and unsettling.

They current anime was already flopping ever since BW ended tho
