Everyperfectsummer Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 I still don't know which starter I'm going to pick Fuecoco3 feel overdesigned, they should have gone with the fire croco + bird concept, the instrument thing feels forced and doesn't work I don't hate Sprigatito3 but the middle stage is so much better Quaxly line doesn't look so promising either but we have yet to see better quality pics

Skeledirge being the only fully evolved quadruped Croc instantly makes her the best one. If Delphox gets Magician, but Meowscarada the "Magician Pokemon" gets something OP instead A street performer that secretly steals from you is SO thematic

Very pleased with the new line though I do wish Sire had some poison markings like Wooper Shroodle is so goofy looking and built like Mr. Saturn gross

Do we need to get to a part of the game where they explain terra types first, to be able to see them? Will they be another thing to reset for, along with natures? I’m feeling kind of overwhelmed at the prospect of potentially needing to wait for the DLC to be able to “change” a mons terra type a la GMax soup. So many options.

What do you think is gonna be the explanation for its ghost type? Also, they shouldn't have reused the same typings for two games in a row. It's lazy and boring.

I don’t think these models are doing the designs any justice.. or they’ve made a concerted shift in their design philosophy. As of now, Spriga3 is the best, could've been better or at Floragato's level of excellence, but it has a cool concept and it's well designed. Fuecoco3 has AMAZING concepts, but it's overdesigned (f.e. the little bird is one of my favourite things ever but the fire "hair" looks really weird). Quaxly3 is not that bad and people might switch, but yeah, maybe the weakest design. The other mons are ok. I LOOOOOVE Cetoddle and Oinkologne femme, but hate with passion that shapless thing that's supposed to be Grafaiai's preevo. I kinda think gen 7 are all bad as well, but at least I have somewhat of a favourite for that gen Empoleon is one of the greatest design ever, and Infernape is amazing as well. Torterra is overdesigned for me... As for gen7, Decidueye is amazing, Hag is polarizing but I love her, and Incineroar is HIDEOUS.

And they always look FEM (not in a good way like Gardevoir ofc) I don't even know why they even bother having another CAT starter not to mention the final evo of that ugly cat serves "fat after flop"
