New doggo is such a great concept and lore. I wish the candle was less “literal” as it pertains to its design, but not a biggie. What’s gonna ruin it, as well most designs with head protrusions, are the ugly Terra “hats” stacked on top.

As a lover of Dogs and Ghost Type... I love Greavard. The Stoutland line is one of the rare dog inspired Pokémon that I dislike.

idk if i’ve articulated this yet but i’m big mad at the fact that they seem to be parading Sunflora around and couldn’t give her a regional evo, Paldean form … nothing. that thing is UN-usable , they want to make entire statues of it in the game ….. and keep it as the same flop b!tch it’s been for 20 years now ???? tf ??

Agreed. Appreciate the attention gen2 has been getting in Paldea, setting up for the inevitable Let’s Go: Johto, but Sunflora remains useless, the only reason I can think to feature it so heavily is to sell Pokémon gardening merch. 

 

Speaking of which, I’m surprised PokémonCo haven’t really explored that avenue - so many cute possibilities & ready wallets.

Maybe it'll get a stat bump. They've been quietly doing that for alot of Pokémon since sun/moon. If not that it could always get a new move that recontextualizes it somehow.

The way I still believed to this day that Delcatty Is a Dog
