Star + Gyms + Titans/E4 represent all 18 types  Interesting how E4 & Titans share the same type  hope the Champion actually uses Pokemon mostly from her region unlike Mary Sue only having 2 Galarmons  Rock is speculated for Geeta since it's the only unused type, but she's currently confirmed to have the Psychic Ostrich too.

I actually liked all the Cynthia battle episodes but this most recent one was just ****. I don’t know is it just me or did Pokemon battles peak with D/P/P and BW? Because the battles I’ve seen since have just been so lacklustre it’s crazy.

 

Garchomp having 3 dragon type moves was ridiculous but welp imma just stick to the fact that Mega Garchomp would’ve whooped Lucario and be content with that.

I didn’t expect Lucario to get rid of Steel Beam that quickly, but I’m not complaining. Ash ordering Lucario to use Reversal as a last-minute surprise reminds me of him telling Lycanroc to use Counter against Gladion’s Lycanroc as a last-minute resort when he hadn’t used the move the entire battle before then. Nice callback.

For one second, I really thought Ash was gonna lose, that Togekiss seemed indestructible and it seems that Garchomp indeed took too much damage from Sirfetch'd MA. Now the Leon fight gotta be one for the books, he needs to do some changes in strategy.

The way I watched both of these while bored, YouTuber drama is always so entertaining when they get worked up about stuff lmao 

I think Smallant gets the sympathy more because he’s a better content creator, I think Pointcrow did point out that he could have done less to fuel the comparisons but like it’s not that deep (and I get it’s their livelihoods but posting a similar video really isn’t that damaging surely) 

 

anyway, it was the way pointcrow delivered the “we were supposed to be friends, in this together”, I don’t know the guy but it gave closeted high school gay who was obsessed with one of their straight friends and then doesn’t get the “friendship” they wanted, or maybe I’m projecting my highschool experiences lmao

Absolutely tragic outcome. Journeys battles continue to be garbage. But I must admit I was definitely on the edge of my seat. 
 

Nothing to look forward to now. Just gonna accept it for what it is.

Ash beating Cynthia is just... not believable. The way he's relied on cheap tricks from Pikachu setting off a sprinkler on Brock's Onix to "AIM THUNDERBOLT AT THE GROUND-TYPE RHYDON'S HORN!" to Sirfetch'd not needing to recharge after Meteor Assault his ENTIRE career is just  wtf are these writers actually doing?!

 

And with Leon being an unbelievably overpowered Mary Sue, I'd be even more incredulous at Ash winning against him. Cynthia I could understand beating Leon, since she is actually skilled and doesn't rely nearly as heavily as dumb luck and idiotic asspulls that would not work in the games. Hell, honestly no other trainers ever introduced in the series have either. But SATOSHI?! BYEEEEEEEEEE

Leon is hands down the worst champion and so forgettable. His flopass personality is nothing but I like to battle and use pkhax. So one dimension. Even HAGatha is more memorable than him. She's at least an Oscar nominee movie star and for better or worst remembered as weakest champion.

If Ash wins that means they can finally reboot the series, and it really needs that, I know it's a big commercial for the games and merch, but after 8 generations it feels really dull to extend Ash's journey even more...

not this again jesus with Snivy he only had Pikachu and he wasn't able to use his moves because of Zekrom..shitty writing for starting the whole Ash/Trip rivalry..and at the end Pikachu defeated Serperior so
