I wasn't expecting another Ghost.  The way miss Ceruledgy just cemented my Violet choice (even further). And it's a Physical one, too! I think it's weird the new move is Fire and not Ghost, though. But from the description it seems like it learns Shadow Sneak and maybe even Close Combat which would be  Not sure about other physical Ghost STAB, though. Maybe they'll make Poltergeist have better distribution and make it easier to learn now?

 

I'm warming up to the design, but it's less egregious to me than most of the other humanoid (furry ) designs of the past Gen's. Another completely missed opportunity for a Fire/Steel regular mon finally, though. I mean it even has an armor ffs. They're doing the Scarlet girls dirty, I fear.

 

So if the Coin mon is part Steel and the Hake Fish part Ghost then Ghost type confirmed to be WINNERS this Gen.

Omg, with this plus the officially confirmed returners list I just looked up on another site, the way Ghost types already ate this Gen up is insane 

 

Imagine if both Dragapult and Aegislash make it in, too, my dream team top three for the post-game battle facility of this region (whatever that looks like for Paldea) is them plus Ceruledge

hmm, Geeta's name is some kind of sagitta in all the other languages so i guess the english name comes from saGeeta. her head kind of looks like an arrowhead as well. along with Cassiopeia constellation inspirations of team star, im gonna assume that Geeta is somehow related to Sagittarius constellation, which harbors our galactic black hole 

some people also pointed out that the only missing type is rock between e4 gyms and team star admins so Geeta probably specializes on rock type. which is further implied by her lapis lazuli color scheme.

now let's remember that khu hinted at kommo-o zekrom and regirock back in april as the 3 legendaries. we know mirai and korai.

 

which means that geeta will have the 3rd legendary which is a rock type (and probably the creator of terastalizing phenomena) with a slight chance of looking like an archer.

Don't forget the 100% Queen certified new Ghost/Fairy Misdreavus.  A Special counterpart to Physical sweeper legend Mimikyu. 

 

And finally a usable Fighting/Ghost with Primeape's evo.  And possibly our second Ghost/Steel type.

Oh wow that's a very interesting analysis!  There's also a 3-Stage Mono Rock line this Gen going by the leaks. And that Poison/Rock flower thing, too. Both of them are probably part of her team/could be her ace. I am ready for another Rock legend if true, though. We could use more of those!

There‘s literally no reason for me to buy Scarlet. Violet is just so much better and more interesting to me (future theme, hot professor, Pokémon and legend)
