Magickarp Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I finished the first dungeon, but have been spending the last few hours exploring the map instead of going to the next dungeons. I'm kinda stanning the exploration tbh. It's like I'm finding Pokemon for my team That said, i can't use the handful of 5🔺 echoes i've obtained, & the 4🔺 ones i've found are worse than 1,2,3🔺 I have a gut feeling choosing to explore so much rn is gonna **** my enjoyment of the game later on tho Also i haven't had any performance issues, so either the TV's frame interpolation is working, or i just can't notice the dips. 1 hour ago, Puttanesca said: The way link didn't stand a chance against me and my neopets. Back to the depths you go *****! Literally the early previews i saw people saying Link & the Talus were hard, but my lil Pokemans ate them up, while i stood to the side and took 0 damage. Granted those people playing were rushed, & couldn't find the broken king: 2
Katamari Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Not me making it all the way to goron city before realizing I'm going the wrong way 5
Rence Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I was worried the dungeons would be too basic after the first two but the next ones were fun and somewhat challenging My main Pokemon team: Flying Hitmontop Axe Tinkaton Jetpack Venomoth Electric Pyukumuku Boomerang Emboar Vanishing Alolan Raichu
Rence Posted September 28 Posted September 28 This is very useful for those who want better monster AI and something close to direct combat For ranged attack Spoiler I just charge my rod and summon a sea urchin for long-ranged damage. I feel like an actual mage with it 1
thatsmydemi Posted September 28 Posted September 28 The way you're comparing this to Pokemon... maybe I should give it a chance?
Kern Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I'm enjoying new Zelda a lot Just entered the first big dungeon
Dylangaga Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Echoes of Wisdom is so fun and addicting! OMG I LOVE IT MORE THAN TOTK!
Puttanesca Posted September 28 Posted September 28 (edited) This type of crafting is unironically more enjoyable for me than TOTK because it's simple. I'm not being forced to piece together some makeshift helicopter to get to a platform and worry about having to reverse its course or something. And instead of having to put rusty weapons together with elemental items I spawn my neopets and bloop everyone is dead. Edited September 28 by Puttanesca 2
Liafen Posted September 28 Posted September 28 So with PS5 Pro flopping (), I was thinking of selling my dusty ass Switch I don't even use before Switch 2 drops and buying that instead, but I'm lagging behind with info on the new smasha. How confident are we that it will have backwards compatibility? What are the top rumored features that got y'all are excited the most about?

xXavril Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Such an incredible game! They really mixed classic and new Zelda together perfectly! I do wish there was a new game+ option because I hate getting such good items/accessories late/end game because what's the point
Goaty Posted September 29 Posted September 29 the game so far is a serve but I'm only 45 min in and the echo selection menu is already a disaster where is the organization? 1
LittleStarmen Posted September 29 Posted September 29 (edited) Finally got to Echoes Fun but very complicated and annoying to use the menu all the time The binding ability wasnt necessary on this game, id rather have more buttoms for more echoes, same thing with sword ability, not so useful. Having one Echo on each , X,Y and Z and a Link echo that fights for you would have been more cohesive and less annoying to move Edited September 29 by LittleStarmen 1
gagacasanova Posted September 30 Posted September 30 The controls in Echoes of Wisdom are giving me a goddamn stroke. 2
Puttanesca Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I think they messed up by having so many useless echoes. Like once you find a lvl 2 version of a monster, that should replace the weaker version. Also, we don't need 20 different bird echoes, useless statue echoes, and a dead fish echo. 4 1
Baltie Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I was going to buy Echoes of Wisdom but at the last minute, decided to get Ace Attorney Investigations Collection instead 1

artc0cx Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Wait im guessing hyrule castle is the last main dungeon? Cause Spoiler Im at the end of it and the battle is really hard (im playing in hero mode), Id need to explore the rest of the map then

Rence Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Finally finished the main story and hit 100% completion. Some thoughts: Echo menu navigation is the absolute worst The blur and frame drops are so annoying That one temple's level design was SO dreadful that I was hoping I could skip it entirely Two dungeons are some of my favorites in the series The echo mechanic reminds me of Pikmin gameplay but you use Pokemon instead. I wish it was polished more cause it's amazing I love how chaotic the final fight was. It was tough but still very fun in Hero Mode. Two echoes made traversal so easy once I got them. It felt like cheating sometimes The art style really grew on me This is now my favorite 2D Zelda after A Link Between Worlds Dungeon ranking: Spoiler 1. Faron Temple 2. Gerudo Sanctum 3. Lanayru Temple 4. Hyrule Castle . . 5. Eldin Temple 6. Suthorn Ruins . . . . . 7. Jabul Ruins 4
