The Thing also looked more convincing in the 2000s, and yeah Evans was perfect casting.

What a crazy timeline we live in. But yeah i think critics are just over it. Fans like newrockstars and comic channels love it. And the Cinematic action and MCU connectivity that's been missing finally returns

Ooooof, yeah the era of just going to a comic book movie for the sake of it is over. The Thunderbolts trailer was fine but had me thinking like… what is fresh about this? I feel like besides the scary way the villain was killing people I have seen everything this movie is offering in some way before.

they are - the marvels was a fun movie and it got a 60% from critics. i saw C4 in a screening and i can say its at least a 70%

It's true, this discourse literally happens every single time for a marvel movie, like every single time. And yet here we are 6 years later, and Marvel still has 1 movie in the top 10 top grossing films every year😭 it's like she said in her stream about the anti-disney mob up in arms online but they have the only 3 billion movies of 2024. Nobody thinks that's not weird?

Only Grace would say Hollywood needs to do more to nurture new talent and then less than five minutes later say the Legally Blonde series should've cast someone with a built-in fanbase like 34 year old Emma Roberts (who's been in the business for 20 years at this point)

The Flash has 82% audience score on RT too so I don't know why she even pretended for a few hours Captain America was doing well with audiences. All the big (non-Sony) flops recently are around 80% - Eternals 77%, The Marvels 80%, Aquaman 2 80%, Quantumania 81%.

 

 

Edit: Oh wait, Captain America is down to 79% Audience Score.
