My local casino had a one off event last night called ‘Lucky Be a Lady’ featuring the top 5 of S14 and was hosted by Jaida.

 

With Jaida being from the Midwest she knew all the local girls in the show as well, which was fun to see. What a stunning Queen 
 

The top 5 were great as well! They each came out and lip synced 2 numbers throughout the night. It was nice to just have a ‘traditional’ drag show where the girls just perform numbers.

It should have been Shea/Trinity top 2. They both talked so well, we’re funny but kept on topic, and actually sounded like they were giving a drag graduation speech. Plus they looked stunning.

This is so disappointing. I loved this look and Shea's story, but to see that there was no thought or creativity to it on her part eeeek.

Jaida is my fave this season, she’s serving constantly and has been so likeable. Jinx has done amazing, but is such a clear front runner that I don’t feel the need to root for her.

 

Raja deserving stars prior to this episode, only to finally win a star and have to give another one to someone else  when in all likelihood, someone would’ve given her a star anyways this week had she not won. Mess!

I think it’s the pit stop’s overediting that hurts it for me. Bob and monet are f**king hilarious when they’re unedited. The extreme cuts, zooms, sound effects, are never funny and always take me out of the show, making it seem over scripted and less genuine. I never found the pit stop to be that great because of this, but especially the last 3 years, it’s been increasingly over-edited. I think they think because of the success of uhnnn that everything has to be over the top, but it doesn’t. Especially when you’re simply reviewing an episode and giving critiques, and when you’re naturally charismatic and funny on your own like bob, you don’t need all these cringe edits that the producers do. Imo.

See I wasnt gonna say its obvious her runways are now just couture pieces, the drag looks have been trash tbh. The ones she actually designed have all been bad and im shocked tbh. Jaida and even Monet in her all tackiness has been more consistent.

Can you imagine if Jaida had come out at graduation as her character from the political challenge and continued the confused ***** theme. It works because Ru loves dumb comedy and especially from ditzy girls, and Jaida is one.

 

Watching the speeches again, I say Jaida was also better than Raja, looking back Raja ranks around 4th or 5th imo.
