Chris Posted January 21 Posted January 21 This season is nowhere near being the best season since WOTW2. This is the worst season next to Spies, Lies, and Allies.
monologueNacafe Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Yeah this has been one of the better of the recent seasons

Casuals are fuming bc theres no classic vets but this season has served 10x more entertainment so far than Ride or Flops and Spies Lies and Bores. - Horacio is a BORE and needs to go. The only people from this season who need to be on 40 are Melissa. Nurys, Big T, Michele, and Kyland. Everyone else can wait for 41 2

monologueNacafe Posted January 25 Posted January 25 I’m sorry but I’m not believing the results of that challenge
Chris Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Imagine if Jay or Michele was purged. Imagine the meltdowns one or the other will have. Jay was so cringe in the beginning of the episode.
McNulty Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Everyone I was rooting for went home in one episode, Kyland you're my only hope
Chris Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Kyland being one of my favorites this season. Jay getting the Paulie treatment in getting grilled on Twitter, IG, AND Reddit. 1
McNulty Posted January 25 Posted January 25 what is more insufferable than Jay, are his sheep. Ed was voted by his own alliance yet he choose them like an idiot 2

KLatz Posted January 26 Posted January 26 This season and the cast are really not that bad (even though the cast could've been better with some more veteran players who have never won). The thing holding this season back from really delivering is the **** format. The first two phases of the game felt like a complete waste of time. I actually enjoy this new format for Conquest, but so much time has been used on the mercenary twist and the building the prize pot phase that it doesn't really even matter. Alliances have been well-formed and everyone knows were they stand so it feels too little too late for anything exciting to really shake up the current structure. The length of these new seasons are really what's killing the show because they always end up wasting 6-8 weeks of episodes with nonsense that stalls any exciting gameplay all to hit an episode quota Also Challenge Twitter is annoying as hell because they whine about boring seasons and how the show is not as good as it used to be then complain about people doing "villainous" things and champion meritocracy bores like Kyland and Horacio who want to "play fair" and "beat the best in the end." No offense to either of them because I like them and they are rootable underdogs, but they're not bringing that cutthroat gameplay or high drama that The Challenge was built on. I've long resented the push to make The Challenge "America's fifth major sport" and with the audience actively rooting to pull out any sort of divisive players like Jay, Michele, Olivia, ect. to pool for more people like Horacio, Kyland, Zara who treat this like it is a sport, it's going to continue to steam ahead in that direction and lose all semblance of what made The Challenge great... 2

Wow..... what a read. No lies told, and you left no crumbs. The biggest issue with the season is definitely the format. There has been more drama this season than in the last 3-4, and you can tell a lot of the cast STILL does not like one another. The Horacio, Ed, and Zara's cannot carry this damn show. 1
Chris Posted January 27 Posted January 27 This has been one of the messiest days ever. First the whole Nicki/Megan drama and today did you guys see the Nicole/Laurel drama online? It is MESSY and I mean messssssssssssssssssyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Wooooooooooooooooweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 1
monologueNacafe Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Why am I just now finding out about Nelson, his accident, and his foot amputation?
monologueNacafe Posted February 1 Posted February 1 These last two episodes have ruined the whole season for me. I’m sorry I wasted my time watching this crap 1
monologueNacafe Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Olivia is one of the dumbest contestants in challenge history. There would have literally been no consequences for her if she did the right thing
monologueNacafe Posted February 1 Posted February 1 But on another note…did y’all see Kyland’s bulge?
Miles. Posted February 1 Posted February 1 (edited) Yeah I have a LOT to say. First, objectively as a whole, this is actually a pretty good season. We have real drama, real emotions, betrayals and romance and friendships ending. There's no Vacation Alliance to sail to the end for the fifth season in a row. It's definitely better than 35, 37, 38, USA1. It's definitely worse than USA2. It could go either way with 36 and WC depending on the final. The biggest issue is the format. Having vets come in to do the eliminations for 10 ******* episodes sucked so much strategy and drama out of the game and allowed Jay/Michele's massive alliance to dominate. This Chain of Safety thing creates excellent drama, but again, makes it too easy for a majority alliance to win out. Really this is the same issue we always have. Production needs to do a better job of giving the underdogs a fighting chance (but DONT bring back skulls ) The second biggest issue is the cast. Again, being objective, regardless of whether I like them or not: Jay, Michele, Nurys, Olivia, Kyland, Ravyn, Berna, Melissa, and Big T are excellent casting. They can compete, strategize, and have all been in drama. Horacio and Zara may be a bit boring, but they are likable and can compete, and whether y'all like it or not, they are casual fan faves. It's okay to have a few boring hot athletic people as long as they are LIKABLE. On the other hand, Emanuel, Ed, Colleen, Moriah, James, Corey, Asaf, and all the people that went home early are HORRIBLE casting. Boring, unlikable, content to sit like barnacles at the bottom of an alliance, non-confrontational. ZZZZZZZ. Emanuel has done nothing in two seasons now. Ed got betrayed by his entire alliance, did noting about it, and then got purged. James is ugly, can't compete at all, and doesn't even try to play the game. Moriah - a two time loser to NANY GONZALES, let's not forget - is basically a straight Kaycee. There is no world in which any of these people should ever be cast again. Now for some personal thoughts: Michele doesn't deserve any hate. She is playing a good game, is actually trying to look out for all her allies, and feels genuine remorse when she has to hurt someone. She doesn't do anything out of spite or malice. I still like her. Jay is a small, insecure, pitiful little man with a dangerously fragile ego. I despise him. However, he is still good casting and should be on S40. Berna is CRACKED. Why does she even think she's Michele's #1 when Michele has been putting Jay, Olivia, Nurys, and Moriah above her all season? It's giving single white female. Olivia......... Olivia......... Olivia is that **** I always knew she was from her Love Island days. One of the fakest ******* to ever be on reality tv. As fake as her nasty botched face. After all Nurys and Horacio did for her... all the time they spent looking out for her... sacrificing Zara for her... Only for her to doubt them all season and ultimately backstab them like that. Wow. Vile. Normally I don't like to see anyone get hate on social media, because god knows the Internet is already a negative enough place and reality stars have feelings too and no one should be getting death threats over a silly tv show..... but tonight I am enjoying her getting cooked on every app. Lastly, poduction should've rigged it for Horacio to win the two dailys this ep and last ep. He got second in both and we know they rig these "timed" events all the time. That would've saved the season. Anyway, this season now hinges on Nurys. She's the only person who would be a satisfying winner. As much as I'm devastated to lose Horacio and Kyland, watching her beat two of the best men of this era was epic. Edited February 1 by Miles. 2

Horacio is a worse casting choice than most of the duds you put on the list (he is the male Kaycee). He has no emotions, doesn't strategize or socialize. Zara literally only woke up in her last episode or two. Just because they are on the "underdog" side doesn't mean they contribute anything to the show. I can't even say they're likable because they're robotic. Asaf and Corey are the opposite of non-confrontational, and weren't at the bottom of their alliances. Say whatever you want, but they're polarizing as hell, and aren't like the other people you claim to be duds. But yes, the formatting is easily the worst issue with the season. Production continues to get in their own way, and it's why so many of their recent seasons have completely sucked. 2
