Jujuy must be f*cking a producer because she was forgettable on both the Arg & World Championships seasons. They should have brought Eva

Are we just gonna ignore Jay’s diversity casting efforts by constantly bringing up his “Latina mom” that he’s never mentioned before?

When did he say that?

A few times in the confessional. Something about being raised by a Latina mom makes him tough or whatever. Another thing about “my mother would call Him ‘chiclet’ bc he’s always stuck to your shoe” ?

She was probably cheap to cast. This whole season was put on with a limited budget.  :deadbanana:

The fact that CT probably got paid more for his 1 episode appearance than the entire cast combined (minus maybe Michele? lol) :deadbanana:

the only thing that made me cringe more is Corey’s pickme behavior towards the men. Gay men like that are also super cringe. I bet he loves watching “the game” on Sundays at the sports bar :deadbanana4:

He most likely talked about it in his other seasons, but they chose not to air it until this season.

Exactly, we only see a very small bit of what actually happens through the lens of the edit.  And we know how shameless the producers are.  They ignored Ashley Cain when he was trying to raise money for his daughter, then tried to use him for clout when his daughter passed.  And they made Dee the face of racism while ignoring (much worse) issues from their golden boys.

It's very believable that they simply chose not to air Jay talking about his family until this season, as they didn't care before, but now it fits their current push to capitalize on the diversity movement.

anyway- I had no idea they get paid different amounts to be on the show. I guess it makes sense though lol this show is a mess overall

Omg I had no idea. Is this why he never came back after that one season?

Watched the first episode and this format is fine (I guess) but I don't like the way they have to vote.

I wish they would 2 a week more often, so it wouldn't take 5 months to air the whole season :deadbanana2:

I actually thought eps 3-4 were great!  Both challenges were actually really interesting, and they allowed some new people to shine.  Ed really dominated them both, and surprisingly Michele stepped up in the math/dune buggy challenge as a major leader!  Props to her.  Also, I normally never like to hear about people "doing it for my kids!" but I WOULD like to hear about Ed being the father who stepped up

I'm glad to see John getting a taste of his own medicine, but leave it to Moriah to somehow make a cheating storyline boring... zzzzzz

Jujuy is a nice girl, but she's clearly not built for The Challenge in any way shape or form.  And Hughie... good riddance.  Glad to see them both go, and hopefully this is the LAST we'll ever see of either of them.

Not looking forward to the Champs coming in :pukey:  Except Queen Laurel of course :alexz:
