Wait I'm also cackling at the fact that the S39 announcement spoils that

I did not expect Chris to take so much heat this season. Like they are on his neck this episode :deadbanana2:

I was so taken aback.

Chris is boring & messy but I don’t care.  All this focus in tonight’s episode had me thinking he was a goner.  So I’m glad him and his big d!ck brain survived.

Tori & Sebastian have to be one of the most chemistry-less couples ever.

I’m not here for Miss. Josh’s dilemma next week.

But how is he both boring and messy though if both are like polar opposites?

Both can be true.  The drama Chris was causing wasn’t even all that compelling, tbh.  (Him “calling out” Monte & Tyler a few episodes ago has to be one of the most unintentionally funny, cringiest moments this season).   While I enjoy looking at him, he’s pretty boring — almost normal — by reality TV standards and that’s fine.  I’m rooting for him. :gaycatina1:

What did you learn from your experience this season that you're going to apply to future seasons if you come back?

I am coming back. I want this s--- so bad. I learned so much from these veterans that have played like Tori, Wes, Bananas — just watching the way that they do this game is amazing. And not only that, but all these guys are beasts. I'm pretty strong, but I need to get my weight up. I'm going to start running as much as possible. And just training to be ready for anything. Doing a lot of math, puzzles, just mentally and physically prepare for the next season because I know I'm going.

I feel bad for Sebastian.  He got such a horrible edit but he seems really determined.  I wouldn't mind seeing him again, especially on a season without Tori.

I guess we'll see how much power the current female face of the show has if she's able to secure him a spot in any future seasons.

Exactly, we need a couple "good" people to root for each season.  Like I enjoy drama as much as everyone else, and I want 80% of the cast to be serving fireworks, but I also need 3-4 nice, hot, athletic guys to root for each season.  That's why I like Chris, Tyler, and Horacio so much, and want Joseph Abdin on this.

I know MTV is not against casting personality duds again, but he's just not giving anything to the show. He's not a top-tier athlete, nor is he a character/personality that pops on TV. Even that Tori showmance lacked any genuine chemistry and wasn't fun to watch (like even Tyler and Alyssa S. are giving more tbh). I feel for him because he seems like a nice guy and it looks like he really wants this, but I just don't see them giving him a callback. There's other guys this season that would fill his "rootable nice guy" spot better than he would :celestial5:

Most (if not all) of the guys this season are duds.

Faysal was in a lot of drama, but it was all edited out. Cory is given a small edit, but he has cooled down significantly since his return in "Total Madness"

Wes and Bananas are continuing their self-produced BS.

Josh is Josh.

Tyler and Chris are boring, but Tyler isn't being shoved in our faces unlike Chris.

Sebastian was never entertaining on "Ghost Personalities" or this, and he got a small edit on both. I'm wondering if he was cast because they couldn't get many other "Survivor" people.

Monte never had a big personality, and he didn't have much going on this season.

Dusty was apparently crazy, but we didn't get much of it, and it came off cringe.

Luis is forgettable.

Paulie was bootlicking the vets, so production could realize that he's sane enough to be a regular, and he deep down always wanted the vets approval.

Even most of the women are boring, but since the discussion are the guys, I am going to keep it on them. It's clear that on both seasons, they struggled with casting (especially for the men), and the editing is not helping them either.

it’s time we swap out Nany & Kaycee’s boring asses for Kailah & Sam (I would even say Zach & Jenna, but all she does now is pop out babies)

Interesting article regarding 39.

Spoiler

The opening line very clearly states: No matter what happens, The Challenge season 39 will be crowning two new champions.

And yet the spoiler team has repeatedly said that the vampire is the only winner.  Even today, they are still stating that Nurys got second.

I'm praying that production realized how unsatisfying a Vampire solo win would be and went back and gave Nurys her well-deserved victory as well.  That would make the season much more palatable.

@Miles. Nany and Kaycee being engaged means they will most likely retire from the show, so I don't know why you are downvoting me.

And Underwood's ***** is still HUGE.

If only we could be so lucky.  I actually do believe Nany will retire to have kids, but I fear we're stuck with Armoirecee until she finally injures herself so bad that she physically can't return.

They're definitely gonna want as many champs as possible for S40, and even though her win was rigged, it still counts :pukey:

It's the fact that had they kept the teams format and Michaela would have stole Tori's spot, thus setting off a new rivalry and further mess after Green dismantles. We could have been on the course of having a great season like in the beginning. They always **** ****.

What has Chanelle done in this game to be talking this big?  :katie:

Props to Michaela for doing that.  :clap3:
