Airhead Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 (edited) Food challenges are so unnecessary and disgusting. Edited March 10, 2023 by Airhead

I honestly don't think she would've said anything that hasn't already been alleged by Challenge fans (John's cheating and whatnot), but she basically said something to him, to the effect of "don't make me talk because I know stuff about you that you don't want out there." Again, I doubt we would've gotten anything groundbreaking, but the old Veronica wouldn't have bitten her tongue imo.
Chris Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 On a rewatch episode 2 wasn't bad. Can they just get to the damn elimination already?
andresg770 Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Finally got around to starting World Championship. I was NOT prepared for how old Marley looks now (which in turn made ME feel so old lol). KellyAnne's mirror moment, I honestly can't with this *****. I love her so much! And the way the Brits were already gunning for Team Argentina. I see they're still pressed about the whole Malvinas thing huh Oh, and that cover of "Only Happy When It Rains"? Nah. Just pay Queen Shirley and her boys and let us hear that 90s classique.
andresg770 Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 (edited) I like that they were able to outgame the players with regards to forcing a tie. But if that's what they do every time, doesn't that simply mean that there's no point for winners to even discuss who might be going in? It's just up to the person of that gender, right? EDIT: Oh, I guess if the eliminations are in teams, there's room for discussion. Edited March 12, 2023 by andresg770
Danger Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 I tried watching the second episode twice, both times I fell asleep
Miles. Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 I watched the first two eps of Global World Champion Showdown or whatever last night and I....... Absolutely loved them! I loved how the first ep focused almost exclusively on the new people, allowing us to get to know them both personally and strategically. They seem like a fantastic cast, a lot of great personalities and strong political players. Team UK: Love Zara, she's beyond stunning and it was extremely badass how she was ready to go in for Kaz. Hopefully Wes doesn't tank her game lol. Kaz and Tristan are both beautiful as well and seem like cool people. I feel bad for Tristan having to deal with CrackedyAnne. Nathan also seemed like he was going to be a strategic player, too bad MTV's pathetic Covid protocols ****** him over. Team Australia: Obsessed with the fact that Emily is an Olympic gold medalist and also a conniving *****. Kiki is already a rootable underdog. Grant is the IT BOY, winning both challenges, picking Jonna, and for y'all who don't know, he is a schemer. He came on Love Island AU with a secret girlfriend back home, was THE main character (central point of a love triangle between two girls who hated each other), won the show, then immediately went back to his gf and is still with her to this day. Excellent casting. Team Argentina: They are so fun and lovable! I am hating seeing them get picked off so early! Benja is a fave for obvious reasons so hopefully he can stick around. Poor Jujuy being stuck with a worthless loser who doesn't even deserve to be on this show Team USA: Looking forward to Danny going after Tori lol! Loathe Sarah but can't deny she's a phenomenal cast member. It's like she's allergic to boring TV, she ALWAYS ******* delivers! The way she made sure to have a tie vote in the beginning to see what the tiebreaker protocol was? Genius! Looking forward to seeing her stomp her way through the game, hopefully she doesn't win this time. Ben is a piece of **** chronically injured quitter who should never be on TV again. I literally can't imagine a team worse than him and Flopcee. Wishing them the worst Both challenges were actually FUN and didn't feel like a waste of money! No explosions, no helicopters, no semi trucks. MUCH BETTER. Nelson's expertise being HEART, I SCREAMED! And then for him to immediately get dead last after, LOL! Him being the first "legend" out would be perfect. And of course CrackedyAnne carried with her paranoid delusional ass. Very old school vibes! She's probably the second least legendary legend (after Nelson ofc) but she's already proven why she deserves her spot. Honestly those were the best two back-to-back eps of The Challenge since WOTW2. Really looking forward to more!

Attitude Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Why don't all the internationals just band together against Team USA?

If they're going to cast bland nice athletic white men, I would prefer they be jawdroppingly gorgeous to make up for said blandness. CJ Koegel would be my #1 choice, but other great options would be Connor Trott, Calvin Cobb, and Aaron Owen from Love Island, Xander Hastings and Michael Yerger from Survivor, and Christian Birkenberger from Big Brother. And for Australians specifically, Robbie Skibicki from Survivor and Gerard Majda, Josh Moss, or Mitch Hibberd from Love Island would do. As for Troy, well, I hope he is a good partner to Queen Amber Edited March 15, 2023 by Miles.
Chris Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 @Miles. I just.... Three episodes in and it's just a bunch of nothing.
