Chris Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 That last elimination of Nany vs Aneesa.... Nany missing twice. Aneesa getting tossed to the floor further injuring herself.
monologueNacafe Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 This was a terrible final tbh. I was sort of rooting for Nany just for the simple fact that she’s been trying for so long but her and Bananas suck at communicating

KLatz Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 That last stage felt very lame for a finale of a final, but I'm happy Tori and Devin finally got a win. They've both been close a few times now, so it felt like an appropriate time for a win (especially since they actually embodied the theme of the season). I felt so bad for Nany though. This truly felt like her last chance for a championship. If only her and Johnny spent more time organizing the cinder blocks instead of arguing and rushing through the puzzle, they would've had the win. Oh well
Attitude Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 I hate the whole "gifting" the losers a split from the winner's prize money. It also makes it so the vacation alliance will drag each other to the end so they can split the money.

Plus, while I’m sure it’s a somewhat genuine gesture, it always feels more like a bribe so teams/individuals won’t go after the champs in future seasons. It just feels like a transparent game move and champs shouldn’t be able to weaponize it like that. I do feel bad for the finalists that don’t get paid though. MTV should really be doing it themselves and giving out 2nd and 3rd prizes so champs can’t game it every time

I’ve already stumbled upon too much about AS4 between Twitter and this thread.. mostly Twitter through because people just be openly writing updates and the feed be shoving it in my face
Miles. Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 The finale was okay. I enjoyed Horacio and Olivia's cameo And seeing Aneesa go out in even more pathetic fashion than usual Happy for Tori getting her win. She can be annoying, but she at least has a heart and a brain and always brings something to the show, unlike the rest of her alliance. Devin... Well, let's just say he got extremely lucky facing two of the biggest flops in Challenge history. Nany being 3-0 in eliminations this season... Production trying so hard to rig it for her and yet she still flops Production wasting all that money on their stupid light-up corn maze ~hArDeSt FiNaL eVeR~ Sigh. I can't help but wonder what would have happened if Kailah and Sam had won that first elimination. If the season played out exactly the same, but with them winning, it probably would have been an 8/10 for me. 15 hours ago, Chris said: Just as bad as SLA and USA1. Ask @Miles. Not even close. Nothing could ever be as bad as the USA1 finale, that was one of the worst produced episodes in reality TV history. And I would rather watch Aneesa limp across Argentina in real time than see the couch win again, so this finale was way better than SLA. 13 hours ago, Attitude said: I hate the whole "gifting" the losers a split from the winner's prize money. The Challenge shouldn't be cruel and mean-spirited (like 28 & 32), but neither should it be all kumbaya and rainbows like 38. It actively discourages good TV. The vacation alliance will continue to coast to the end knowing that they will all get at least 30K no matter which of them wins
Chris Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 I'm just glad Olivia and Horacio got money tbh.

Most vets get 50k+ just to show up plus their weekly stipend depending how long they manage to stick around. So they don't walk away with nothing. Nany gets like 70k just to do a season. Bring back the days of backstabbing your closest ally for the money (Bananas, Sarah, Ashley).

I'd come back every season too
