If so, then I lowkey don't blame them for taking this long to go back. Didn't someone get injured in each of the first 2-3 matches that night? Anyway, considering that TV ratings and PPV sales are just never gonna be what they used to be, I agree that it would've made sense to do this sooner. But then I remember how buggy the Network was for the first few years, and again, I don't blame them for being cautious lol

Billy Corgan literally owns a wrestling promotion now, yet I don't recall him ever giving the WWF permission to even use a Smashing Pumpkins song for a PPV back in the 90s -- much less host or promote an entire event
