What does that mean if they sell wwe

New owners always means changes, whether good or bad. If I was to pick a conglomerate tbh I would pick Comcast, easiest transition with its existing Cable business and I feel like they wouldn’t change much.

Now if someone v powerful like Amazon, Disney, or Netflix buys, then you start to worry :dies:

But on the other hand, Disney+ and Netflix are 28737373x better streaming platforms than Peacock :michael:

Poor Bryan had to suffer through filming this awful show, only for like 600K people to even bother watching it

The part where he complains about having to change clothes to pretend something's happening on another day, though :dies:

I’m a little out of date on my Eva Marie lore. Was she hired specifically to be a mess on Total Divas or were they just big fans when she was in developmental?

The former. They hot shot both her and JoJo to the main roster and only moved Eva back after a year and a half.

I don't think Lucha Underground did that well when they put it on Netflix :deadbanana4:

I know NOTHING about the economic logistics behind it, but educated guess just based on their history, I think they'll most likely sell to Comcast/NBCU and just want the right number and to be ensured they're a bigger part of the offering moving forward. All of their key people (Rock, Cena, etc.) have good relationships with the network and they're already on Peacock, so it would just make sense to keep it going.

The only thing they'd be working out would be where to place SmackDown since (I would assume) they still want that primetime network slot and what like the long-term future for the IP would look like after Vincel is gone. I really don't think NBC has anything relevant in Friday primetime so I'm not sure what they have to lose. :deadbanana4:

Ironically, I believe one of their Friday shows right now is Young Rock.  I think it's part of a "Friday Night Comedy Block" (with that new George Lopez show) they're trying out in order to prove that they don't just show reality-competition and Dick Wolf shows.  So who knows how long they'll commit to that...

Is Fox interested?  They might be their only viable option for a primetime slot on network TV (I don't see ABC, NBC, or CBS being interested; and the CW is in shambles).  They'd have to move everything to Hulu, but at least they already have a working relationship :michael:

They better give her an actual character and a storyline, otherwise she will be coming out to crickets

Wait, that's that same b/tch that's being pumped and dumped by Zack Ryder, right?
