PWInsider.com has confirmed that she's written into tonight's broadcast and is sporting a new look, blonde look. Vega last wrestled during the 4/11 Monday Night Raw episode, facing Bianca Belair. She had been out of action since due to an injury that required surgery this past May but has made some appearances for the company since, including the San Diego Comic Con. Since returning to WWE in July 2021, Vega became the first-ever Queen's Crown tournament winner and held the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Carmella.

plaidarms Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Fightful says there was a creative pitch for Zelina to replace Elektra Lopez in Legado del Fantasma Quote Fightful Select reported this Summer that Legado Del Fantasma were set to debut, with this week it being revealed they were slated for the Smackdown brand. PWInsider has reported that LDF, sans Elektra Lopez, have been spotted at the site of Smackdown. They also reported that Zelina Vega is slated for tonight's show, sporting a new look. Fightful Select can confirm there was a heavy pitch and push to put Zelina Vega with the Legado Del Fantasma faction, possibly in place of Elektra Lopez, who was a part of the group in NXT. This hasn't been confirmed, and anything can change heading into the show, but there was a pitch for it.
