It's very telling that she gets more hate than Prince Andrew.  I feel like it's a mix of jealousy and racism, nothing she did warrants  the vitriol she gets. She wanted out of the palace and seeing the way the press treat her I can only imagine how she was being treated by snobbish aristocrats behind closed doors.

I deactivated my Instagram and Tinder accounts 7~months ago and I am thinking whether I should go back or not. I kinda miss the vibes but also I don't want to be a part of those systems again, they feel toxic

I fear they are toxic but addictive. I deactivated my ig early this year and have stuck without it.

I'm still stuck on twitter tho, I always end up going back to search for something then getting lost in the scrolling.

Nnnnnn I low-key consider retiring from ATRL too. I like some of the topics and bases here but the overall ATRL is also quite toxic. I think I really need early 10s Tumblr to make a comeback, that really was the IT girl of social media platforms 

 

Just think about this: do you really want Elon Musk to have all your data? That's what kept me off Twitter so far

Some of this site is exhausting but you just gotta pick and choose your battles

 

at least theres some level of accountability, its such a small community compared to a site like twitter you begin to remember and understand other users and you learn who to avoid and who is a good vibe etc

Well there isn't much data to be had. I only sign in from desktop and I don't tweet I just lurk.

 

It'll just be stats like how many seconds I normally keep watching when they send me a video with cute cats in the algorithm, how many seconds do i stare when they show me a picture with a lot of boobie on show? etc etc

I think it depends on where you are active on ATRL because I actually think ATRL is way less toxic than other forums I know. On reddit, when I would make a grammar mistake or something like that I would be already bullied about it in the most cringe-worthy ways possible (like people commenting with lyrics that I don't know and don't understand how they are related to me writing something wrong). Here I make embarassing mistakes all the time and have to edit my posts 1-2 times but no one once was being mean about it. I also feel like mods here are doing amazing job at keeping things in check and not allowing stupid behavior. I also sometimes see some habits from polish forums (I also had those when I joind here) and usually those users are getting WP or bans quickly for making flamebaiting threads, being generally super negative and mean etc. A lot of people on this site are also so awesome and hot too I have no choice but to stan ATRL

Well that's true, you can choose which topics to be engaged in and keep it less toxic for yourself. I never used other forums so I don't know much about them but my friends also told me that places like Reddit are crazy toxic. I guess ATRL is one of the better ones. And yeah, I appreciate the mods in here, they are quite active and helpful in keeping this place sane.
