2024 US Election Megathread 🇺🇸🏛️

Message added by Lee!!,

It was decided based on feedback from the spring 2023 town hall to transition this thread back to being election specific. With the Civics section being able to house specific threads on many issues, we think having a generalized politics thread is not completely necessarily anymore.

With that said, please continue to be respectful and remember that you do not always need to respond to everyone.

I mean, I don't doubt this was true at all. Gonna be really interesting to see Dems defend obvious obstruction and election manipulation after how they cried all the way through Ukrainegate in 2019-2020 though :lmao:

Ilhan makes one anti-AIPAC comment and years later Republicans still use it as justification for stripping her of her committee assignments while the best defense her Democratic colleagues offer is “Yeah, that was anti-Semitic, but she’s apologized and learning”. :rip: Meanwhile, Boebert has still suffered zero consequences for “Jihad Squad” and insinuating Ilhan had a bomb on her.

Zionists are mad at Shontel Brown for showing the slightest modicum of support for Ilhan by retweeting AOC’s speech :rip:

It’s about the gop trying to hurt Joe by going after his son.
which won’t work out for them.

Of course you’d believe a right wing made up talking point that literally has no proof to it just  to trash Biden 💀

RO KHANNA voting Yes to condemn socialism :ahh:

Even Jayapal voted the right way. Truly the most disappointing Bernie surrogate. And people dare push him as some sort of progressive successor to Bernie? PLEASE! :ahh:

I could understand voting “yes” if you’re in a swingy district….but if you’re D+10 or above and voted no…smh. Ro Khanna, Nancy, Neguse, and many more represent SAFE blue districts.

A couple of surprise “no’s” there I must say. Dan Goldman, and Jahana Hays, who barely won her last race….

Did the House vote to condemn Nazism? Of course not. Improving universal material conditions and not having a stratified system apparently much worse than Nazism.

The resolution itself is a praise and affirmation of nazism since it uses the "100 gajillion billion million" number from the nazi-written Black Book of Communism. :ahh:

The fact that a majority of Dems voted for this just shows how they're also in league with the GOP with boosting Fascism. I also see that the new Majority leader also voted to condemn socialism. Not a very good look to those in here who continue to talk about ''equality'' but for some reason have no qualms about selling out those who are poor. They're also in a hilarious irony will call those who criticize and withhold support from Dems as ''Fascist enablers''... Well this vote just shows who the true supporters and ''enablers'' of Fascism are.

Absolutely embarrassing on Ro's part. Especially when you have Jayapal outflanking you from the left. :rip:
