Van Jones should retire too. He's always messy and embarrassing at times like this.

Trump didn't, because he couldn't, due to not having control of all 3 branches of government.ย  What if he gets all 3 branches this time around?ย  All the people he surrounds himself with are vocally adamant about running the country based on Christianity, and eliminating both abortion and "the gay agenda."

ย

Remember they now have the Supreme Court stacked conservatively and they keep saying the quiet part out loud.

I totally get this. I understand what's at stake. But ridiculing, gaslighting, and shaming people who feel reluctant about supporting or voting for Biden is not the path or strategy to take.

ย

It will only backfire, we saw what happened in 2016 when people did that with Hillary.ย

Biden sounding normal on tv now ๐Ÿ˜‚

If that's true I hate what that reveals about the stupidity of the average voter. Why would anyone vote for a Biden Harris ticket knowing Biden couldโ€ฆ at any moment and she would step up. No one is voting for Biden at this point, they're voting for his administration which includes Harris. No one is looking at Biden like he's the next JFK or Obama. At this point he has no charisma, no personality, no real talking points.ย

Shocking headline.ย

Remember when he said Trump's first SOTU was "the most presidential moment in American history you've ever seen"? :toofunny2:ย

Like why is Biden so coherent and strong here but wasn't the first half of the debate ๐Ÿ˜‚

My local news couldn't even cut together 5 seconds of the debate that didn't sound like deranged SYG ramblingsย :priceless:

No, it's your arbitrary assumption. Kamala polling worse doesn't mean anything because she's an extension of Biden. Anyone else is hypothetical. We can't rely on polling for hypothetical candidates until they are actual candidates.

ย

A hypothetical matchup is not a meaningful piece of data.

Assumption? I'm the only one dealing with the evidence in front of us right now :toofunny3:

ย

I'm by no means defending keeping Joe on the ticket BUT it'd be prudent to at least look before you leap; and hypothetical polling does help to inform that decision. How else are you going to assess that someone is a strong replacement?

We're stuck with Kamala for 2028 unless she decides not to run after being defeated which would be for the best.

Another example of people looking at the superficial rather than what was actually said. Because whatever Trump saidโ€ฆ was trash. Extreme all or nothing view with a ton of emotional bias

The View panel's attempted patch-up job for this will be so abysmal :deadbanana:

This is no one's fault but Biden and the Democratic Party.

THIS IS BAD

I'm sorry but any white men who are still undecided are just trumpies in hiding. They're just self aware enough to not want to be associated with that disaster but deep down they want to take every minority's rights

They're finally talking seriously about Biden stepping down on CNN. We need to SERIOUSLY pressure Biden to step down and some of y'all need to stop constantly defending him (you look delusional and embarrassing). Biden is NOT FIT FOR ANOTHER 4-YEAR TERM, point blank. He can not and will not beat Trump in November. These idiots should have realized that a year ago, but it's still not too late

His approval is a record low. To suggest that's the best we can do is delusional thinking. Hypothetical polling is always weak and isn't a sound metric because political skill and also having a name immediately shifts political attitudes and how people respond to candidates. Hypothetical candidates are not real so polling on how hypothetical candidates perform are not reliable. You need to be able to allow people to run to have an actual sense of how people feel.

ย

Until then, it's hypothetical, not measurable.
