Tbh Trump has stained the office of the presidency. People don’t respect the president anymore. Approval ratings for presidents going forward will stay in the 40s range for a few decades

Tbh the three big cities are mostly fine. But if you go outside that, you may as well be in rural Alabama. :rip:

Girl I was in Columbus and was surprised I didn’t get called a slur cuz with their looks they could have done that and worse :toofunny3:

All of this is pointless. Once SCOTUS rules in favor of Moore v Harper there will literally be no point in even trying anymore. That’s end game for the country. Hope the progressives who caused this because “Trump is the less destructive than Clinton” are happy. See y’all in the camps.

Hope you center-right right-wingers are happy.

Progressives, please don't vote for this awful administration (and if you do, corrupt neolibs will STILL complain like that Gaga stan I quoted). They and their stans DESPISE you.

By the way, 25% of Hillary 2008 voters voted for McCain because they are racist and conservative trash, yet Obama STILL won because he isn't unelectable like Hillary. It's time for the Hillary cultists to take accountability for her awfulness and stop trying to blame others.

It's amazing how neolibs act like Hillary didn't kill her own chances at becoming president 20 years earlier with that Super Predators comment that SHE made. That SHE said.

It's also amazing that y'all think you can rig a primary election in broad daylight, have emails get dumped CONFIRMING that back-room deals between Debbie Wasserman Shultz and the Clinton Campaign were happening to swing the election in Clinton's favor from the start because they knew she was vulnerable and unlikeable and needed to do anything to squash any and all dissent in the party, and act like the crime was the fact that your girl got EXPOSED. Centrists are really absolutely ******* shameless. :dies:

The only thing Russia did was at least show us the truth. Something you clearly can't expect from the Democratic Party and their sycophants like Kassi and Bang Up :ahh:

Speaking of primary elections, we absolutely need to unrig Democrat primaries.

Even the second ballot BS is unnecessary, THE PEOPLE should decide - not dark/corrupt money and superdelegates. And the concept of open primaries is underrated: Independents should ALWAYS be able to vote (but we know why neolibs don't want them to :oh:)

Why are y’all like this? Sanders was/is NEVER happening. Like Elsa said, LET.IT.GO :bibliahh:

The emails were written after Clinton became the clear frontrunner and Bernie’s delegate deficit looked insurmountable, yet he wouldn’t stop using his LACK of VOTERS (particularly black voters, the base of the Democratic party) to accuse the DNC of rigging an election he NEVER had a chance at winning. Putting the DNC on the defensive.

If I was DWS, I wouldn’t even have dignified that old oaf by resigning for trying to defend the party as the DNC chair. She’s nicer than me tbh, as chair, I probably would have launched an all out offense against Bernie, calling him a SORE LOSER and an ENEMY OF DEMOCRACY, over his ridiculous claims. :gaycat5:

That aside, it's ultimately good Bernie ran again because he successfully disproved his own myths about 2016. No super delegates, a thousand debates, no DWS, no Hillary, 100% name recognition, started out as the frontrunner and with a built-in base of support, yet he lost worse than before. A ******* loser. :bibliahh:

It's okay, henny. You all can have the garbage party you've fought so hard to keep centrist and worthless. Just understand the consequences of promising everyone that "nothing will fundamentally change" in an era of ballooning economic inequality that has only worsened thanks to the pandemic (in the middle of which Biden promised openly that he would veto universal healthcare to protect the insurance-for-profit industry that bankrolled his campaign).

Just be prepared to lose. A lot.

The fact that this is coming from you, is actually reassuring. :gaycat3:

I’m definitely prepared for whatever follows this prediction :gaycat5:

you literally think Pete would be a good option for the dems to go for when you know damn well this country will never elect an openly gay president. The most memorable thing about his campaign was that insufferable "High Hopes" dance. I mean... :rip:

So I mean... that says it all about your opinions and judgment tbh :gaycat3:

I genuinely wonder what goes on in the head of centrists like this. Are your parents partisans Dems? Are they well-off? Did you have a lot of privilege growing up? There's very few realities that shape someone to say things like this out of nowhere. Even someone who truly believes voting is very important, but who has had even the faintest brush with poverty and what being poor is like, understands how apathy to voting is the norm to most people. It feels like you think your methods will work and inspire anyone to vote, and are too blind to see it's the opposite. :skull:

Most progressives' beef is not with voting but with your ineffective centrist politics.

None of us think electoral politics won't have *any* effect on the world. The thing we hate is your bad ideas and the privilege it takes for you to so unabashedly push an incoherent ideology like neoliberalism. Your backwards politics and defense of corrupt politicians only leads to poor people *voting less* and thus makes our attempts to get people to think they can change their realities harder. It feels like neoliberals deflate the base on purpose. You want people to vote less - that's the only explanation for why you continue to support such shitty policies.

I would love nothing more for people to want to vote. Your commitment to voting for bigots and idiots who fall under the banner of centrism, moderates, neoliberalism, etc. is making that impossible and turning possible voters off. Look at Biden's approval. You did this.

If I made a decision as illogical and ignorant as having voted for Biden in the primary, I would frankly be too ashamed and embarrassed to admit so knowing I would then be personally responsible for setting in motion the collapse of the Democratic Party for the next 12 years. :skull:

These centrist Dems have literally gotten their way for 30 years at this point. We had 8 years of Bill Clinton, 8 years of Obama, and we’ve had over a year of Joe Biden and they still won’t admit that this watered down, center-right, and anti-left strategy is nothing more than a failed experiment.

They will never admit it because they legitimately think Biden's a leftist and call him a filthy "succ" because of BBB, even though it was watered down and nowhere near what we needed. Literally a compromise of a compromise. And it's still too much for them to handle.:ahh:

I don’t think you can blame Trump entirely for Biden’s poor approval ratings. Especially when Biden’s approval is actually lower than Trump’s was.

“We should be allowed to use trans people’s dead names” ugh I’m physically ill from watching this.

“I should have the freedom to not treat another human with dignity and respect!” I can’t stand Robby, and I don’t know how Brie and Olayemi put up with his garbage.

Most centrist libs I've met come from well-off families or a long line of democrats (or former republicans) and don't really pay that much attention to politics & just vote blue no matter who because that's the way they were raised. They've never had to worry about a paycheck or supporting themselves and just generally enjoy brunch and don't want to have to address the harsh reality that so many of the middle and lower class are currently facing. They've truly bought into the whole "if you just work/study hard enough, you will be successful!" dream because they come from a family that already has college degrees and don't have to make that extra jump to just join the LOWER middle class. :emofish:
