So annoying. He is factually correct to point out that a big part of Biden's poor approval is a lot of democrats don't like him. But maybe he should think for one ******* secong that maybe it's because he's not ******* doing anything the base actually wants

What are you talking about? Biden is “not Trump” so he’s living up to his one and only campaign promise. Public promise anyway, as he’s living up to the “nothing will fundamentally change” promise he made to donors too!

Anyone who’s mean to Biden is an ungrateful commie. I don’t make the rules.

FAN FICTION LEFT???

Dems are irredeemable at this point.

Posted (edited)

The fact that in a supermajority of pollsters, Biden's latest poll (or one released May/June 2022) was his worst one :rip:

Like ... imagine being more panned than Trump. Why should someone that awful get 2 terms in a row? The worst approval numbers in at least 100 years at this point in the presidency?

Bye at “Fan Fiction Left.” BIDEN is dampening voters’ enthusiasm by being impotent. The left is constantly told that it is insignificant and inconsequential, yet we’re so omnipotent that we are the ones turning elections in favor of Republicans??????

**** off, centrists. God I can’t ******* stand them :jonny:

More like right-of-center, like they would be considered in most countries :gaycat4:

and ridiculous: I'm convinced that that Gaga stan (Bang Up?) wrote that article.

Isn't she the one who had all the anti-Trump MSNBC brunch liberals donating to her even though she made the appeal to voters that McConnell was not helping Trump enough with his agenda??

That was her. Yes. :clown:

At least SOS is a pretty straightforward job. I’d rather someone else in the KY Dem Party go for it though. McGrath has never won a race and is pretty insipid. She couldn’t even list LGBTQ+ and reproductive rights on her 2020 Senate campaign page.

Omg lol. Not the Republican sounding more progressive than the KHive (aka a Republican in pretty much everything but name) here.

KHive: I want a woman to be president

Republican: *lists woman, who happens to be of color*

KHive, despite stanning Kamala: you know what, actually, women of color should TAKE A SEAT and wait their turn!

I really could go on a whole tangent, but there really needs to be a cap put on rent.

THIS. My rent is rising 35% ($500/month) this year in INDIANA. It's forcing me to move to a new place. :shakeno:

This country is an absolute **** show and deserves everything coming it's way. Republicans will get back into power soon and it will only continue to go into a further spiral. Democrats' placating of the GOP, and wealthy donors, for decades is in large part to blame for all of this. They always figured voters would see the GOP as too extreme/out of the mainstream and vote them into power. That never happened and now the party and their voters are too far gone.

It really feels like we're heard towards authoritarian rule and it's depressing to think about. Congress' refusal to do anything is also going to lead people to lose further faith in it and champion a future president to bypass them in order to govern.

Unfortunately, we’ll never get rent control. A lot of NIMBYs don’t want it because they prefer keeping the market as unregulated and consumer-unfriendly as possible. YIMBYs don’t want it because they oppose solutions that undermine the freedom of markets and would prefer that costs go down due to greater availability due to more housing being built through gentrification.

Just coming here to say: the Democratic Party and it’s weak/ pathetic leaders are leading us straight into disaster, and November will be the first of many signs that the “big tent party” is done and over with for the foreseeable future, unless a massive course correction happens :cm: carry on

Democrats putting on this political theater focusing on January 6th while the country is literally falling apart and they do absolutely nothing about it will be the last nail in their coffin. :rip:

Maybe instead they should do something to create a society that doesn’t make people want to riot so we can prevent another January 6th. :cm:

This :cm: we all know nothing will come of the January 6th hearings, ain’t nobody important going to jail. They’ll just say “voters will make up their minds!” Like voters will give a **** if this outrageous inflation isn’t dealt with :rip:

At this point, Democrats should just be 100% completely transparent and say “we need you so we can appoint judges and in case Clarence Thomas croaks, because we can’t accomplish much more else and everything else will be a broken promise”. I’d have an ounce of respect for them if they at least told the truth, instead of promising the moon and the stars, and getting next to nothing as a result :rip: (love Fetterman though, he needs to take the reigns of this sad party once it spends a long time recovering from their inevitable electoral pummeling that’s coming right their way very very soon)

I mean, the insurrection attempt occurred only because conservatives couldn't deal with losing. And we would be in this inflation cycle even if Trump was the president because this is caused by the world coming out of lockdown, thus a sudden spike in the demand for all natural resources, and also the printing money policy from the central banks that got many countries through covid. And I'm from Finland, and we have the same inflation here, and all over the world, so it has nothing to do with Joe Biden per se. In every country I see people blaming their local governments, failing to see the bigger picture.

Amy McGrath to a tee. I don't think Dems are a lost cause in KY (there are more registered Democrats than there are registered Republicans, and KY being a red state is a relatively new phenomenon). But ghouls like Amy McGrath aren't helping the state.
