@khalyanย I'm assuming the decision to move this back to the politics threat is happening next year. Just curious :coffee2:ย

I believe we are going to close this thread at the end of the year, and open a 2026/2028 general politics thread in its place. We've had discussion about closing some threads more frequently due to how many resources they use while we've started our archive process currently. I'll keep you updated when we finalize what we are doing.ย

Good start at winning back Asian voters

Posted

Without accounting for population that's still only a 8pt shift on avg or going from 90/9 to 86/13

ย

Really confused why Charleston swung so hard but Columbia didnt.

ย

And many of the rural areas just collapsed in turnout as opposed to shifting:rip:ย Like 20% of votes being gone collapse.

ย

Haywood County, TN 2020

3,343 44.94% 4,012 53.93%

ย

Haywood County, TN 2024

3,286 49.40% 3,311 49.77%

You didn't see people making these outlandish claims about Republicans when they lost in 2008, 2012, and 2020.

you absolutely did see many claim the republican party was over in 2012 due to what people thought was proof of solidified obama coalition and "demographic destiny." the RNC released their infamous post mortem that said the party needs to soften on immigration to win hispanic voters.ย

Poor @FameFatale's tea from observing Kirk's activities turning out true. The good sis has been warning us.

I've noticed alot of Dems going with the "president musk" stuff recently. Which is the perfect way to go about it. We all know Trump won't like that ๐Ÿคฃ

Don't even hold your breath waiting for the ball to drop with this presidency. The cult of idiots are gonna make excuses for every decision Trump/Elon makes until something directly affects them, and even then they'll find a way to blame it on Biden.ย

Yeah, we could hit a recession deep into like, 2027 and the narrative will be: "it's because of the POLICIES that BIDEN implemented that got us here!!"ย
ย

Trumps fans and cult are baked in too deep. He can't and never will do wrong in their minds no matter what.ย

Very possible Virginia rejects Spanberger like they did to McAuliffe :sistrens:ย

ย

Ossoff is cooked for sure, and it doesn't matter if he's against Kemp or MTG. We probably get a literal fake elector for our next governor, if Burt Jones even wants the job.

ย

Georgia only looks relatively good because the entire country moved far to the right due to Democrats squandering their four years in office, ending in abject failure. You should be more concerned about holding on to Governor Mansions in New Jersey next year and New York the year after at this pointย

Just for clarity, "demographics as destiny" as a mantra quite literally suggested the Republicans were naturally doomed to eventually no longer exist as a party.

And now, demographics as destiny is leading toโ€ฆ this, as our electoral college map in 2032

Democrats will never win the presidency again with these losses from New York and California. What an absolute joke of a party. :bibliahh:ย

Why didn't he post the swings though?

ย

The Hispanic & Asian numbers are lowkey pretty bad for urban California standardsย :deadbanana2:

Kind of sad that's their only hope since they collapsed into the abyss in Florida & Texas with Hispanic votersย :rip:ย

ย

But they don't do enough to keep voter turnout of Black voters at sustainable levels, so good luck with that & in North Carolina.

This Musk stuff is doomed to end in disaster. Maybe the Dems won't have to change much after all

Henry Trashtar is collapsing every cycle, don't think Pelosi's robot calls can save him in this context

So then all your whining and hand wringing over progressives not getting a fair shot at being the Democratic nominee for Presidency is pointless because the Democratic nominee can now never win.

ย

All that energy you waste being passive aggressive over progressives not being anointed and handed the Dem party only to find your own cause become irrelevant.

ย

What a sad end to 8 years of moaning and cryingย :ahh:

And how did that work out?

ย

More proof that even if it did happen to some extent their fears were wildly overblown and the political pendulum swung back in their favor after 8 years of Democratic control.ย

Liberals sealed their own fate by adopting horrendous policy stances and locking out their progressive base while their ancient moderates in leadership like Pelosi and Connolly hold onto power and enrich themselves. They had their chance in 2016, and squandered it by placing their bets on Hillary Rodham Clinton, loser extraordinaire!

ย

The insider trading should be considered criminal by everyone. And yet, here you are moaning and crying about the political stances of an irrelevant homosexual on ATRL. I've voted against my own conscience for these Republicans-In-Democrats'-Clothing for years and years like you've wanted me to, and apparently that's never good enough. :rofl:ย
