Him profiteering off his dad’s name and staying out of jail for drug possession crimes that regular Americans would get life without parole for if he wasn’t the then-Vice President, now-President’s son is kind of a big deal. If the laws aren’t going to be changed, and marijuana is going to stay illegal because Hunter Biden’s president father views it as a gateway drug that should remain illegal, then he should face the same consequences as everyone else. The same consequences that Brittney Grimer would face at home for all the moralizing that the Biden Administration is doing against Russia for… merely treating an American in possession of drugs the same way they would at home, like a caged animal devoid of humanity. Its the hypocrisy of it all, to me. Hunter Biden shouldn’t be walking free when anyone else would be in jail for life for the things he has gotten away with. The corruption. The nepotism. All of it.

All I’ll say, as a TLDR for what I replied with to Communion is this: either Hunter Biden should be treated like everyone else, or everyone else should be given the same amount of leniency that he’s been given in his life. The status quo is a caste system, where you get punished to the fullest extent of the law (plebs like us) or you have limitless impunity and can get away with whatever you want (Hunter Biden and Donald Trump). Not sustainable for our society.
