Amnesty’s report is equating territorial defense forces that aim to defend unconquered cities from Russian invaders to using human shields and putting citizens in harms way. It’s a false equivalency. We’ve seen what happens when there’s no Ukrainian defense forces in Ukrainian cities - just look at Bucha, Irpin, and Hostomel. This report is disgusting, and Amnesty International’s character is rightfully being questioned after that “report.”
