If anything, Putin’s facade of bringing stability to Russia has been shattered. This will affect him in the long run.

Unless Putin felt like he didn't have a choice but to orchestrate this because that notion of stability was already gone.

If this was staged, there is no way to roll back Putin's appeal to the whole country that Prigozhin is a traitor and a criminal case has been opened against him for a coup. His reputation will be partially tarnished, and it will not be possible to clean it up.

 

I have an assumption that the Minister of Defense will be changed in the near future.

This is disappointing as ****. I guess Putin wants to absorb Wagner group into Russian military this way? I wonder what kind of proposal Piegozyhn got from Lukashenko that he couldn't say no to?

To change the Minister of Defence, from Shoigu to Dyumin, he was the ex-deputy head of MoD.

I don’t think it was staged, I think Prigozhin is an egomaniac and wanted to force Putin’s hand. But who knows where it goes from here
