In general, elections are coming soon, regional and presidential. Putin said in an address today that such rebellions can lead to failures at the front, and even to capitulation. An interesting reference.

Also, not sure if you had a chance, but I've noted one thing in all those vids recorded in the last 24h by russian citizens: their voices sound excited. I'm not kidding: they were excited that there's Wagner military column advancing Moscow or that russian plane was shot down.

Imagine living in a state where a coup led by prisoners with life sentences is exciting and not scary or saddening.

It's really telling you more than you need to know about the state of Russia(n society).
