We were celebrating Russia starting to retreat from Ukraine in September 2022 and yet we're one year later now and the map is almost the same.

Why is life so bad? :monkey:

Considering ru threw everything on east front and mined all important roads and fields, it's not gonna be fast job to liberate these territories, especially when there's a lack of long range missiles and other important equipment :gaycat2:

Poland is in their madness weeks before their elections.

Especially because their ruling party has made hardline anti-immigration their brand while they sold hundred-thousands of working visas to anyone wanting to buy their way into Poland.

So the rest of the world can better ignore the Polish officials gone mad and throw all the distractions they could find at the wall.

Do you think it's madness for families of those two killed farmers to expect at least some kind of apologies from Ukrainian government? Because it's been known long before our elections those two missiles were ukrainian.

Oh and for your information our ruling party is considered doormats when it comes to our relationship with Ukraine by majority of our nation, they are not getting any brownie points in here by saying the truth and barely expecting a minimal gratitude and accountability from Ukraine.

"The ones who need to apologize are the Russians because we wouldn't need to fire the defensive missiles that blew up your civilians if it weren't for them." -The Ukrainians probably.

Of course it’s sad that they died, but if Russia wasn’t attacking cities in the far West of Ukraine, there would be no need for Ukraine to be shooting missiles in the first place.

The PiS government is practicing the same fascist tactics they were known for before the war began - projecting images of strength and superiority (look at how we helped the Ukrainians, we’re so strong and mighty) while playing the victim at the same time.

The fact of the matter is the grain is meant for the Global South, and is normally shipped through ports in the south of Ukraine. But with the war, the Polish government agreed to help transfer the grain. Of course, companies with close ties to PiS profited from this at the expense of Polish farmers, and are now playing it up to try and win votes. As you probably know from seeing poll results, PiS is about to lose their absolute majority in government and are scrambling. The farming industry is already heavily subsidized every year, so there was never any long term threat to their profitability. This is just typical PiS posturing and scapegoating to get away with their own corruption.

Every Ukrainian is more than thankful to Poland and Polish people for all their support and help in the war. Zelenskiy’s delivery might have been aggressive, but he wasn’t lying when he said Duda was playing a domestic political game at the expense of Ukrainians. Thankfully both leaders have publicly stated they’re working together to solve this dispute, and have reaffirmed their support for one another in all other aspects in the relationship between both countries.

Your post was good, but you also forgot to mention there wouldn’t be an issue with transporting grain if Russia didn’t step away from the UN sponsored grain deal. And, of course, the fact that there would be no need for a grain deal in the first place if they would stop bombing Ukrainian cities, ports, and people.

But cheer up, the Polish elections are on October 15th. You have about two more weeks until Poland and Ukraine move on from this spat for good, and return to diplomatically tag teaming Russia. Enjoy this time while it lasts :heart2:

Hopefully not a sign of things to come in Poland in two weeks’ time. Or in America in a year and a month from now either. :heart2:

I am curious to know how many Ukrainians re-settled in Israel since last year, and these guys must have been one of the unluckiest people in the world.

Two Ukrainians Killed in Israel, Ukraine's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Says (kyivpost.com)

Quote

Two Ukrainians have died during the latest escalation of the Israel-Palestinian conflict, a spokesperson for Ukraine's foreign ministry told AFP Sunday.

"We have confirmed information about the deaths of two Ukrainian women in Israel. Both citizens had been living in the country for a long time," Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko said, adding the consulate was in touch with the victims' relatives.
